Unfortunately for Behrooz, the terrorists found the tracking devices on him in about, oh, ten seconds (great plan, CTU. Whose came up with that idea anyway? MEG?). His captors told Behrooz his mom was dead and about two seconds later shoved a knife into the back of his neck. Don't worry though. They were only scraping out a tracking device. Our puffy haired kiddo was still alive. The bad news out of all this though was that Marwan managed to successfully distract CTU away from the LAPD report, which, despite a few moments of hope, were sadly ignored by Edgar. This meant that as we approached the cliffhanger, Mitch Anderson was able to board his bomber and prepare for takeoff. The good news though is that those wires Jack cut helped CTU find Marwan's location. Oh, but will he still be there? Those terrorists are quite wily! Next week Fox says a twist will happen so big, IT WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING. I'm putting my money on Mitch Anderson taking down the Prez. After all, if 24 is willing to knock off an Academy Award nominated actress, surely they'll have no problem doing away with a guy whose previous track record includes That ’80s Show and Unhappily Ever After, a show that had him talking to a puppet voiced by Bobcat Goldthwait.
What do you think? Is it curtains for Behrooz?

I don't think it will be curtains for Behrooz, I think he will do the double agent thing for CTU, or kill Marwan and take over the cell, btw, how did Marwan get Edgar's phone number? hmmm

I'd like to point out it was actually a stealth fighter that Mitch Anderson is piloting, not a bomber of some sort.
I thought this kind of a slow episode, I mean basically they spent the entire hour and distracting CTU from finding a police report. How lame. Waste of an episode. Sub par for 24.

could mitch anderson actually take the president out? it wouldn't be the least likely event to take place on 24 this season. and rumors are abounding that dennis haysbert--aka President Palmer--is set to pop up a la tony and michelle in the season's final act . . .

I’m fascinated how this show can make Berhooooz into this sympathetic figure of a poor confused kid, when only 6 hours ago he was burying his girlfriend in a shallow grave after watching his mom kill her. And she was HOT too. Not Lluvy from ANTM hot, but still.
Jack may think we’ll remember how we defeated the terrorists. Marwan may think we’ll only remember the meltdown. But all I’ll remember is… sniff…Momma Stiles goodbye to her fat lispy son… Sniff. Ah jeez. I promised myself I wouldn’t cry…
You’re Edgar impression makes me wonder what the Pat O’Brien voicemails would be if done by Edgar stiles….
It’s nice to know that the hight tech CTU hourly reports are burned on a 12 cent STAPLES CD.

This is the real March Madness. Chloe v. Edgar for office supremacy. My money is on... Chloe secretly torturing Edgar in the interrogation room with all those needles and zap guns. Which will somehow turn into erotic sex and leave Chloe pregnant at which point she will have to hide that baby under her desk. I'm gonna hate to see one of these two bite the dust.
Yeah, thank god the janitor took the baby out with the trash. Hiding a baby under your desk for a year tends to smell up the place.

Okay, so after a day of CONSTANTLY being distracted by phony schemes by the terrorists, you'd think that the brain-trust at CTU would pick up on that pattern. Mmmmmm...uhhh...no. I thought that Audrey, in yet another self-absorbed moment of whining to Tony, would have triggered a moment of clarity in him, thus unlocking the true meaning of the Jack/Behrooooz swap. Unfortunately, he saw a butterfly and scampered away...

I don't believe Dina is dead either. Then again, I'm still expecting Terry Schiavo to wakeup and have lunch with the Pope. My heart goes out to Berhooooz. First Debbie goes down (not the way he wants), then he murders his father and now he's an orphan. I think he'll survive and he's back in next years cast as a CTU trainee.
