There is nothing more annoying than a group of guys who think it's hilarious to ham it up pretending they're gay (in front of a camera, no less) only to become quickly homophobic and defensive when someone jokes about the possibilty they might be gay. Either you're secure with yourself or you aren't, and Jeric certainly aren't. Does this mean they're gay? Not necessarily. Does this mean they're idiots? Most definitely.

uh, lobstar, there IS something more annoying than guys who think it's funny to pretend to be gay, etc.: people who gawk at pictures of guys who think it's funny pretending to be gay and then act all snooty and superior on internet message boards.

I think both the Hippies and Jeric loose me because they are intent on trying to entertain when they simply annoy (my opinion). Particularly when it come to playing both sides of the sexual lifestyles against on another.

Scott and Jase on the other hand didn't intentionally play the ambiguously gay duo. There appeared to be genuine feelings between Scott & Jase and what you saw unwinding on BB was all the innocence of their interactions, gay or not. These guys didn't realize it looked so homoeroctic until they exited the house.

But Jeric and the Hippies are intent on playing with peoples intelligence in that matter. Nothing you see from them seems real, towards each other or in respect to the cameras following them. Everything they do is scripted, it appears, the night before, and it's just not fun, or funny to watch. From the Hippies holding each others hands when ripping open the detours, to Jeric looking right smack in the camera when they make an unfunny comment about girls.

And who knows, the other teams on TAR are probably so reserved because they realize how stupid Jeric and the Hippies are making themselves look.
