Newsgasm: VH1 celebrates tabloid babies of the year -

We read the first line of VH1's press release and felt vindication at last: "No year has ever been bigger for super-star babies than 2006... and who doesn't love a big baby?" Then we read on and realized they weren't talking about tabloid babies like us, but the Suris and Jayden Jameses and Shiloh Pitts of the world. Those little paparazzi targets and other biggest stars and moments of the year will celebrated in the annual cheesey zeitgeistfest, the VH1 Big in '06 Awards on Sunday, December 3rd at 9 pm.
And Tvgasm readers can decide who wins. Sort of.
Viewers can vote in each category online (or on your mobile phone by texting keyword "BIG" to the number 22422) through December 1st.
Tabloid Baby's pal D.L. Hughley, star of the current On Demand movie hit Cloud 9 and NBC's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip-- which will definitely get a full-season order-- or get cancelled-- depending on who you talk to today-- will host for the third time. The list of folks scheduled to appear includes the year's usual suspects, including Fergie, The Killers, Justin Timberlake, Eva Longoria, Kiefer Sutherland, Joey Lawrence, Lance Bass, Ice-T, Brooke Hogan, Tommy Lee, Danny Bonaduce, Mario Lopez, Katharine McPhee and "Weird Al" Yankovic. There's no mention of Borat, but future reality series subject Andrew Dice Clay is being exhumed for the bash.
And how could VH1 pass up squeezing a little more juice out of Flavor Flav? He'll be on hand as backstage correspondent.
