Yeah it sucks that Janelle is out but we still love her. Well, it was unlikely that Janelle would have won had she made it to the final 2, so at least now the anti-friendship (Howie, Rachel, Janelle and James-sort of) get the power back and can crown the winner.

Friday, September 16, 2005: A sad day for Big Brother viewers.

A perfect summer of big brother...wasted. I think back to those pivotal moments that led up to this travesty:
1. Maggie winning HOH
2. Kaysar warning Howie and Rachel about James' Bible incident
3. Howie nominating James and Sarah
4. Howie nominating James and Sarah
5. Howie nominating James and Sarah

The only thing i'm looking forward to on Tuesday is the questions by the jury. When Kaysar was ask who he'd vote for (Ivette/Maggie), he replied: he wouldn't vote- he'd walk out! On the contrary, I think Maggie should get the vote over Ivette (making Ivette look stupid for not picking Janie)

When Julie asked that question regarding who Beau would have dinner with, and it was Michael!?! I knew the comp was fixed. Not to mention April's question about who should have won AC. While they're at it, why couldn't they ask a question like: How many plastic things/toys were in the gumball machine? Then, they could have made up the answer in favour of one hg and no one would have ever known!!!

Fantasy for next year: BB Allstars....and hope that it's Janelle and Kaysar (or James or Howie)

The only consolation in this season is knowing that Maggie + Ivette will be even more hated by America in their everyday lives.

I dislike each of the F2 intensely. On the one hand, I want Ivette to lose so that Big Momma can call her a dumbass and for the rest of her life, Ivette will know the pain of putting something ahead of her family.

On the other hand, I so want to see if Ivette makes good on her promise to Cappy to pay for a home, or whatever it was. Yeah, right. Big Momma would kill her first!

Howie screwed over Janelle one last time with his answer. How many freakin times did he say the worst thing in the house was the nerd herd? Then, he says it's something else.

The jury questions had the desired effect on the F2, so I do want to see the finale.

i'm with you, j-unit: as much as i have hated ivette all season long, she's not nearly as fake and self-righteous as maggie, she has a personality, her mom and girlfriend are with us on the subject of eric and the friendship, and, most of all, ivette came through in the clutch and beat the natural head-to-head, which is a far more admirable accomplishment than manipulating a dope like howie. most of all, i would much rather have that cash paying off ivette's mom's mortgage than paying for any more hockey jerseys and las vegas fire department paraphernalia for the loathsome cappy.

but the big question of the evening for me was: what is up with michael's i-accidentally-stuck-my-finger-in-an-electric-socket hairstyle? has he been getting styling tips from jase? who wants to place odds on how long it takes janelle to figure out that michael ain't so hot when you have options other than a black gay hustler, a cute but rather sheltered and naive iraqi virgin, a self-obsessed loss-prevention officer (aka a rent-a-cop at lenox mall), a bi-curious former male stripper who climbs into a foot locker to jerk off and thinks he's a jedi, and . . . cappy?

The final HOH competition was hard to watch, and painful. Janelle was so close. I also agree that Ivette and April would have been the absolutely worse case scenario. Not that I like Ivette and Maggie in the final two, but it was pretty clear in my mind that this was going to be the result. Both don't deserve the money. If I had to pick one, I would pick Maggie, but I have a feeling that Ivette might win. I won't be surprised if Ivette wins. I hopefully we will be spared what is sure to be a crazy, annoying reaction from Ivette, and plenty of tears. Finale night will suck.

It is truly a sad day. I would not be able to vote for either of these Crappy Cult nutjobs. The only thing I look forward to is the jury slamming them both and watching them squirm.

What a waste of a summer.I hope Maggie gets it just so Ivette has to face her family with the few bucks she'll end up with after taxes.

OK...I'm sad that I won't get to see Janelle at least win 50K, but between the final two I'd rather see Ivette win. She was never fake. Irritating, yes. Loud, yes. "Ghetto" (her word, not mine), yes. But she was who she was. Maggie, on the other hand, made everything seem like it was about the Friendship when, in fact, it was always about her. She was SO fake and manipulative. The thing is that she thinks she was the most honest and kind. If she would even once mention in the D.R. that her manipulation was all part of her strategy, I'd applaud her. She just pats herself on the back for playing such an honest game. Therefore, I'd rather see Ivette win. Oh...and in the end, I think Janelle's going to come out on top anyway. She'll be scooped up by some TV show or commercial promotion and make big bucks. Next year Janelle will still be in the public eye and we'll be asking Ivette who? Maggie who?

I actually missed the show and now realized that by reading your synopsis, actually enjoyed this more then if I had to actually WATCH the horror that has become the F2 -- I'm done with it for the season, I just feel bad for the jury b/c they literally have the worst of 2 evils to pick from. Oh the horror. And ya know what? By Chenbot getting so annoyed w/Ivette and Janey for the final answer, she fucked CBS for the finale ratings and somehow, I don't think her hubby will be all to pleased w/her when the finale ratings SUCK. I mean, besides Tush and that supposed fire house in Vegas, who the hell will actually watch the finale?!

Why is this your last recap? Are you not recapping Tuesday because of who is in the final two (if so can't say I blame you)? But there might be some fun to be had in the final, especially if the remaining HGs get grilled by the jury.

I'd prefer Ivette win over Haggie. At least Ivette has some semblence of an actual personality which is far more than I can say for Hags. Ivette was herself, for better or worse. Maggie... who has any idea who she really is? I hope for her husband's sake she isn't the lifeless drip we saw in the house. Not to mention, while they were both pretty delusional, Maggie's level of santimonius is a bit too much for me. Ivette's kick-ass girlfriend is a bonus too -- you know Tush is gonna set Ivette straight (no pun intended).

J-Unit - you gotta take one for the team and recap the final episode. I never watched BB before this season and it was only because you were so excited about the show and the Chenbot. I tried before but got bored in the first episode - this summer, I'm reading the live feeds on jokersupdates.com and hanging no Janey's every victory. I can't watch those two pious hypocrites tell america how wonderful they are and how they played with honesty and integrity (despit the fact that they spent the feeds bashing other HGs and telling america we are f'n pieces of sh*t) I can't watch. CBS deserves the lowest ratings ever for covering up the bile the friendship has spewed in an attempt to make them likeable in the event one of them wins.

Do us a favor - watch for us and let us know if we missed anything and we'll do our part and watch Dancing with the Stars or (gulp) My Name is Earl. Thanks - we're even now.

Ivette made the right choice. She would have come in second either way. This way she doesn't piss off her "friends." Further back she made the wrong choice - April/Maggie. It's too depressing anyway with Janelle out. We're not going to watch the finale.

So it finally happened. I've been predicting this all along but gagged at the thought nonetheless. Yes, Naggie will win because she's a master manipulator. I find it amazing this female Svengali has bullshitted poor, deluded Ivette into giving her the money. Just think of the times Naggie let Ivette "win" something (like HOH) and the times she agreed with Ivette while smugly remarking it's "the thing to do" to preserve the Friendship. They all talked about and agreed that Ivette needed the money the most, and I would have enjoyed seeing her backtrack from buying Cappy a house, but denying her family the best chance of getting that money because she owes Maggie is total bullshit on her part. I think she was actually more afraid of losing to Janelle in front of the entire country than anything else.

Yes, I'll watch the final episode. I want to hear the comments as people make their decisions. And, TVG, thanks for making this season enjoyable. You guys do a great job. P.S. I think Maggie's gonna win it. It certainly seemed as though Janelle was telling JC that, without actually telling her, at the exit interview. My guess is that she is going to lobby her Sovereign pals to vote for Mags. I'm watching the finale to see more jury house footage. And regardless of what has happened this season, one can say that Janelle was on every episode, including the finale. She fought the good fight, and came up short. That tends to make a person more of a champion. And I would have gone with the safe bet: 74 x 24: 1776 - a patriotic number in these uncertain times.

The only reason Janell lost the first part of competition, is because she
just got her period and standing there for four hours was very painful on her lower back. Poor thing.

Even though Friday night blew major dog, you just gotta love Janelle who, after losing the first HOH comp, retired to the kitchen and grabbed a beer.

If Ivette has been smart, she'd have thrown the final competition, thereby making the final 2 against Janelle but without doing the dirty work of evicting Maggie. But of course, we all know the words "Ivette" and "smart" don't go together.

After all she has been through, I hope that at the very least, Janelle get's to determine which of the two sheep takes the prize. If Janie has a "lesser of two evils" preference, I hope she can convince her jury (come on James!) to go her way. After all those weeks of being hated for being pretty, funny and having a mind of her own, if there is an options she can best live with...that's the option I want to see play out.

Having said that, if Yvette wins I am happy because her family is cool. If she loses, I am happy because her family will make her suffer. Maybe it is okay to pick friends over family sometimes but Maggie isn't going to give Ivette a kidney should she ever need one...this isn't friendship Ivette, it's television...a high stakes game show.

If you still have Friday's episode, please go back and look at it again. Yes, I agree with you - Janelle said that Ivette was a good person. Also, during that interview, Janelle said *repeatedly* that Ivette was not going to win the grand prize. When Julie asked Janelle the very pointed question: "Without telling me who you are going to vote for - who are you rooting for?" Janelle side stepped the issue - if one reads between the lines of her answer, one perceives (well, this one, anyway) that not only is Janelle not going to vote for Ivette, but she is actively going to campaign against her. Of course, this being a reality show, Janelle's emotions and feelings could change as she cools down. (But I'm sticking to what I wrote: Janelle will vote for Maggie - the swing vote will be James - he may give it to Ivette - he likes Ivette more than Maggie.)

If Janelle would have just held her answer upside down, oh well. Hopefullly the finale will be 20 minutes of Janelle ripping into Jennifer, 10 minutes of jury, 10 minutes of watching the season and finding out what was siad in the jury room and 2 minutes of congrats for Ivette (plus 18 minutes of commercials).

The worst thing about the friendsheep is the way they both win and lose. When Maggot lost the second part of the HOH competition she again said that it was an unfair competition because one of the questions was vague. She went so far as to complain in the diary room again to the producers. How many times have the friendcult done that this season? Every competition they lost they said that the other team had an advantage or cheated. Then when they won they either acted like Evilette and jumped all over the place or acted all high and mighty. What a bunch of idiots.

I too am completely disgusted by the way this season turned out. The only thing I have to say is that BB has to find a new way to break ties in the competitions. It's such a joke. These "chalk board" math games are so unfair and a bad way to decide the winner, especially at the end like that. The final HOH should be a real competition between the 2 contestants.

After this horrible ending, I may never watch
BB again. No matter who wins, Janelle was the best player in the house. Maggie and Ivette don't deserve any money for all the low down nasty comments they made about the others. Maggie is no real friend - the feeds prove that. She was second only to April in the "behind the back bashing" of Janelle.

Regarding having a "secret" prize, maybe they should have some kind of voting similar to All-Star Survivor.It would have been nice if they had already had the viewers vote, and announce that the person with the most votes also won $500,000.

I have been at the cabin this week, unable to watch Friday's episode due to a big ass thunderstorm. When I got home, first thing I did was fire up the Tivo and watch Janelle lose this thing. Second thing I did was check out the TVGasm recap. The third thing I will do is open my wrist with a rusty bottle-opener. WHAT A DRAG!!!!! I know you guys don't want to watch the finale (can't blame ya there), but we all should as you never know what will happen. Come on, there is still a slight chance they will turn the tables on this thing and have America vote for a conselation prize or something, Isn't there? I've never watched this show before, but if that was all there was to "The Summer of Secrets", then those secrets were pretty fuckin' lame. When will the next season be on? Is it only on during the summer? Man, this is just so brutal!

Omg I didnt even noticed Maggie's ass crack till now because I was so devastated by Janelle's loss. She was so close! I've always said this if this was the worst case scenario (2 Friendship members at the end), I really don't care who wins the money. This is WORSE than the BB4 finale with Jun and Alison. I personally want Ivette to get 2nd prize only because I'd just love the fact that her mom would hate her and tell her how foolish she was picking friendship over money, or should I say over family! For me the TRUE winner was Janelle, not because I liked her better than the 2 evil ones or the rest of the Friendship but the fact that Janelle has proven to be skillful in competitions and outlasting the rest of her Sovereign companions.
