All Things Considered, She's Awesome - TVgasm

After this whole little exchange, James was pissed! He said that he was physically assaulted, but Janelle countered that she broke a nail. OK, so maybe James got beat up on by a girl, but in the end, he actually picked up the doll that he was fighting over, so what is his problem?

bbas8-22-06g

Now, it might have made things a little easier if Janelle had lost, but Janelle won, and James was absolutely livid. He said, "the bitch took the doll out of my hand", saying that in the real world, that is called assault. No, in the real world, if somebody takes a doll out of your hands, the teacher makes them clean the chalkboard while the rest of the class plays kickball outside during recess. I mean seriously, what the hell is James talking about? Janelle is celebrating her victory, and goes to hug James, but he refuses, saying that it is poor sportsmanship. Well, I think it is poor sportsmanship to lose and not congratulate the winner, or lose, and complain that she assaulted you.

OK, I know what a lot of you are saying? "This isn't 'Nam Donnie! This is Big Brother! Their are rules! I didn't watch my buddies die face down in a rice patty to let this type of shit happen!" (Sorry, I have to channel the Big Lebowski every now and then.) Yes, there are rules, but lets look at the replay. While there might be some question about Janelle kicking James and depending on what side you are on, you either think she kicked him, or just rolled over and his head got in the way, the replays clearly show that James and Janelle were fighting over the Howie doll. James really didn't even see the other doll until Janelle leapt for it, and after it is all over, he got the doll that he fought over.

bbas8-22-06h

My conclusion is that James is just a big baby, and all of his anger shows that he is much more insecure about the numbers than he lets on. But let's let Will have the final say. The way he saw it "She just whooped his ass!" Damn straight!

If there is anything good about the Chilltown HoH room, it is that Boogie and Will can now do their comedy without worrying about the confines of the diary room. This is great because the two of them did one of the best happy dances around once the veto competition was over. Will says that James thinks the show is fixed in Janelle's favor, but says that Will is the one that is fixing it.

bbas8-22-06i

The self-congratulation doesn't end there, however, as Will and Boogie imagine what it's going to be like in the sequester house. Marcellas, Howie, and now James will all realized that Chilltown screwed them. I only have two things to say. First, I bashed Marcellas for being a bitch, but he knew how duplicitous Chilltown was early on, and you can see why he would have nothing to do with Janelle after she helped them with their dirty work. Second, three jury members screwed by Chilltown means three likely votes against Chilltown at the end, don't you think? If George, Erika, Danielle, or Janelle go up against one of Chilltown, you have to like their odds at winning the money. The current strategy is to keep Janelle in the house because she is a bigger target, but we saw how that worked for Season Six. I can only hope the same fate befalls Chilltown.

The producers tried to make it sound like Janelle wouldn't use the POV because she is worried about George being nominated, but really, who do they think they are kidding? At the veto ceremony, Janelle saves herself, and Boogie replaces her with Chicken George.

Poor James, he feels completely safe. Before the nomination, he said "there is not a scenario that doesn't play out good for him". There is a scenario that doesn't play out well for him, and that is if Mike Boogie and Will doublecross, which looks like it is going to happen. Boogie said that a freight train is coming in James' direction. Now, usually people in the house have some sense of what is going to happen, so I am not sure if they can keep James completely in the dark, but if he is eliminated on Thursday, it is going to be one of the best evictions ever.

bbas8-22-06j

Chicken George, who really is off in his own world seems to be getting wiser every day, and hey, that slop diet has him looking pretty trim as well. George says that you should always expect to be on the hot seat and that you are going home, which makes your exit easier. Great advice, but it's too bad he isn't telling it to James.

Now, if there was anything that gives us hope for the rest of the season, it is Janelle, who said "I won the power of veto, and now I am here for revenge". Sounds very sweet, and she does have a chance. Still, it will be difficult. My dream scenario is that when James is voted out, Danielle realizes that Legion of Doom is a sham and she doesn't have a chance with Chilltown. I expect them to talk to her like they talk to everybody else, but Danielle is one to take risks. If she and Janelle got together to take out Chilltown, it would be the sweetest payback, and everybody on the jury would thank them. Add a little Chicken George, and they could even have numbers. As long as the producers don't throw another coup d'etat in there. I think we have a chance for a great finale.

What did you think of the episode? Did Janelle win the Power of Veto fairly? Is she right to trust Chilltown? Who do you think will go home next?

Hmmmm...who goes?

CG has Janelle, Chilltown, and Erica and James has Danielle....

Or will Janelle vote for James b/c of S6? Will Erica vote with Danielle?

I think Chicken George goes this week...

I can't believe how much Janie has soured to my palet from last season. She and Kaysar's experation date was September '05.

She needs to go. She needs to go now.

James is a baby. "A little hurt, but it's a hurt."
Does anyone notice his lisp strengthens when he gets angrier? I'll be a licensed Speech Language Pathologist in 3 years and I'd be very happy to give him sessions. Full-price of course.

SWEET!
Ok, but I'm still kinda confused at Mike and Erica's relationship...

just a little fyi, "get to steppin" is something that black people(or people who were "down") said circa like 1995 which was like basically saying, i suggest you leave. basically, it was yet another attempt at boogie tryin to have street cred. what a tool. in other news...soooooo happy that my bb6 janey is back! i hope she's for real back and not gonna get duped by will(whom i LOVE). can't wait for james to be evicted as it will be priceless. didn't they show the houseguest as they went to sequester last year? are they gonna do that this year because i would LOVE to see the reactions as marcellas saw howie and then as howie (hopefully) sees james. and of course, i wanna hear when they all realize they got PLAYED by chilltown. ohhh excited!

James goes. And he's a pussy. Janelle did kick his ass in a fair tussle.

Janelle's a sucker for Will. As for Chilltown, I still think Will and Boogie make it to the final 2 and Will is rightly crowned again. Sad, but he is a mastermind, no matter how much we dislike him. EVERYTHING he plotted so far has come to pass. EVERYTHING. I give him all the credit, quite begrudgingly, BTW. It's that damned wimpy coattail-riding Boogie I can't stand. Now he's making all the noises like he's been the real brains of the operation all along.

One thing continues to puzzle me. It was alleged that Boogie had been stripped of the power to overturn the HoH because he was caught telling Will he had it. I saw the video of that instance. Now, why did he say last night that he had chosen not to use it twice and then it didn't matter anyway, because he had won HoH????

Where does the truth lie? Are the producers holding out on us again?

I want to see Danielle and her callypigous ass out the door right along with Erika. Damn, those two are annoying!

The only thing that makes you look even more like a little girly man when a girl beats you- is to whine and complain and go on and on about it.
James, stheriously, sthop it!

I'd love to see Danielle and Erica team up against Chilltown, but I think the pigmentless wonder and his bitch are just too good. They're making for some damn good TV though.

I was hoping you'd clipgasm Will and Boogie's happy dance. That was awesome.

"I am harmed!" You are a whiny bitch! Shut up, James. It can't be said enough.

Who's got a rule book? If, in fact, the Coup d'Etat was still in play, could Boogie have stormed his own Bastille?

Consider.....he nominates Danielle and Erika. Everybody gets all pissy at each other, but both James and Janelle think the tables have turned. Somebody wins immunity, and Boogie puts up Chicken George, or even Dr Will.

Then, at the eviction meeting, he stands up and says "I'm playing the Coup!" The two nominees step down and he puts up James and Janelle just before the voting happens.

It would have been awesome. Like watching a train wreck in slow motion. They wouldn't have known what hit them.

Where do I begin?

I do have this love/hate relationship with chilltown. I love the fact that they are smart when it comes to playing this game. I hate how ruthless and callous they are. However, with BB, you gotta play hard or go home and they totally understand that...

Unlike everyone else.

I loved Sea6 when the game started, but they were whacked with a stupid stick. Why in the world they couldn't get it together is beyond me.

Danielle is still one of my favorites and she needs to persuade Janelle to form an alliance or she's out soon. BTW, her behind is not that huge. I guess compared to the noassatalls, that the posters are use to...

James is a doofus. I thought he was smart, but he's just lazy if he was going to trust chilltown and not figure out how to best play the game.

Mike Boogie is ridiculously fake. I don't know how he can stand himself.

Still, It would be really great if chilltown were the last two and the sequestered houseguests were like, hell, we won't vote for any of them and walked off.

JamesTool - Get to steppin'.

Erika - Instead of sucking face with Booger, Eat a damn carb!

Will and Janey --- Your unrequited fake showmance is so much fun to watch.

Dani - That fugly robe makes your ass look even bigger.

CG - You are the best floater ever.

hb

I hope that James gets voted out this week, simply to see Danielle's reaction and watch her go nuts on Chilltown. I also think that George will consider it sweet revenge to be picked to stay over James, his enemy. It will be hilarious.

Good for CG, making his move on Janelle. Hey, if making an alliance with everyone is working for James and for CT, why wouldn't it work for George?

I hope that Janelle can take down Chilltown, just to see if someone can actually take Will out. I don't think it's going to happen, though, unless the entire house gets together. Danielle and Janelle just distrust each other too much.

If CT makes it to the end, it will be no one's fault but the other house guests. CT, particulary Will, made it very clear that they were out to get them from week 1. I think it's too late to stop them now.

the Sad-Janelle montage was my favorite. it looked like it had gone on for days with the way they cut it, only she was in the same shirt.

"i want sunglasses. get me my chanel ones"

i'm too obsessed for my own good.

'callypigous ass'? that's some nice vocab, tony. me likey.

He said, "the bitch took the doll out of my hand", saying that in the real world, that is called assault. No, in the real world, if somebody takes a doll out of your hands, the teacher makes them clean the chalkboard while the rest of the class plays kickball outside during recess.

amen, j-unit. if george is 'mr. fart' and howie is 'big boy,' james is 'captain douchebag.' apparently, the live broadcast gave only a glimmer of the fit james threw about 'dolly-gate': it took him almost three days to cool down or even speak to janelle, and he repeatedly demanded to talk to 'legal' and be shown the video of the incident (which, hilariously enough, proves nothing more than that he's a huge idiot).

even more hilariously, james seems to have no idea that his fuming only strengthens the argument for getting rid of him over the harmless and easily manipulated chicken george, or that janelle's unlikely win streak owes at least as much to chill-town as it does to producer chicanery. i have my doubts about the legitimacy of certain competitions, but this was a clear case of 'sore loseritis'.

of course, there's no small amount of insecurity and frustration at play here: james has never been humble about being a ruthless schemer and the self-proclaimed 'veto king' of BB6, but this summer, he has been completely overshadowed by chill-town (especially dr. will) and literally got his ass whipped by a girl in the one veto competition he really needed to win.

with will in the house, james is out of his element. but that's not the issue, here, is it?

It's OK when Will does it, because you feel like he can back it up, but Mike? . . . The only higher plan involved involves the viewers at home desperately trying to find Mike Boogie so they can throw a brick at his head for ruining their summer of television.

double-amen, dude (or, should i say, walter?). dr. will is a master, quite possibly the most brilliant manipulator in competitive reality TV history. but boogie is nothing but a fortunate flunkie, and was probably only put in the house because the producers knew dr. evil needed an igor. i hated to see howie act like such a jackass when he was evicted, but it's a good example of what separates will and boogie: to save erika, boogie threatened george, lied to howie, and then puffed up and insulted him while dr. will just sat back, shaking his head.

will has told a lot of lies, but the key to his success in the game is not intimidation or deception, but subtlety and adherence to the principle of mutual advantage. he somehow manages to get everyone to think that what he wants them to do is what's best for them. and because his suggestions are logical and mutually beneficial, people go along with him and become lulled into the ridiculous notion that he won't screw them the first chance he gets. john nash would be proud. it's really a beautiful thing to watch, and it sucks that dr. will's mastery is tarnished by his association with boogie, who is the definition of a frado.

boogie sucks, and when he gets out of the house, if he knows what's best for him, he'll stay out of my beach community.

p.s.--i hate the fuckin' eagles, man.

Damn Typekey. Have to type my password in each & every time. Keep you logged in two weeks my ass.

Me - Dancing the Happy Dance with CT

I am ecstatic about last nights show. Janelle finally woke up and is playing the game. Did Will really have her that deep in the dark for six weeks? Dick sure can blind a girl! But now that she's awake, play girl play.

James isn't a Christian he's a dickwad that Boogie left on the bottom of the Jack Shack. James clearly intended to go after Janelle and tackle her regardless of what doll she went to. You see him scoping her out before they left Oji and waiting for her to choose the direction she was going. Hey Dickwad. Christians called and want their faith back! Sarah called and wants her Virginity back!

I think George is toast.

Janey's still in hot water unless she wins HOH. Because it's better strategy for CT to go to the final four with James/Danielle because they have a 50/50 chance of winning the money against any of them. There are 3 people in the sequester house who will automatically vote Janel. Janel's gone next week unless she wins HOH.

My money is still on Danielle to win the whole kit and kaboodle.

Like I predicted the Producers never showed that Boogie lost "The Power" earlier that week because he accidentally told Will he had it. Instead they acted as if it expired. Not True.

The Producers announced to the HouseGuests that a housemember would have "The Power". When Boogie lost "The Power" the Producers should have announced to the HG's that "The Power" was compromised and could not be used.

If this had been done CT wouldn't have been able to bully CG into putting up Howie instead of Will. It also explains why they were so forcefull with CG because they really didn't have "The Power" to use if Will was put on the block. Poor CG's plan of getting rid of Will fell apart because of Producer non-intervention at a time when it was required.

Not one mention of Janie's tear? I'm shocked!

#14 "i'm too obsessed for my own good."

"he repeatedly demanded to talk to 'legal' and be shown the video of the incident"

My left kidney for a youtube clip of that.

Janelle's back. James is going home.

I'm with you Vidle/#19 - I MUST see this. That is too god.

Oh - and not to belabor the point, but I'm with Tony A/#6 - did Boogie lose his power or not? Us non-live feeders would like to know.

Thanks for the great re-cap, as always, J-Unit.

I hated Janelle all the way up into week two or so of this season, but I've really come to love her. Yeah, she's too trusting, but she's smart and a great competitor. I really like her. I think her and Will deserve to be final two, but we shall see. I don't know what everyone else is talking about; I think this season has been very exciting. Can't wait to see what happens next. As for that "Dollygate" (love that, by the way) thing, I thought that was SO hilarious! I rewound my DVR about 20 times, belly laughing all the way. The falls were hilarious, Janelle crying out, "Give it to me!", then dropping the doll, falling down and rolling on her back, smiling at James, then calling him a jerk....it was so freakin' funny. James's reaction to it all made it all the more comical. He's such an enormous cooter. I'm no feminazi, but I hate how he talks about women in BB. Disgusting, stupid pig. Can't wait to see bitch ass thrown out the door.

Boogie telling Will he had "The Power" occurs 38 seconds into the video. You have to really listen to hear him. This video was added August 17th which means he probably told Will on August 16th. After he tells Will he tries to correct himself and play it off.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=NJAalK4zqpo

Boogie explaining to Will that "The Power" is null and void 7 seconds into this interview.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=Cikl61T0IK8

This is when they decided to just threaten CG into putting up Howie instead of Will who told CG to put him up. Will realized too late that his reverse psychology didn't work with CG and he realy intended for him to go home.

I really hope it's not misdirection leading us all to believe that James Cap'n Douchebag is going home this week. Loved, loved, loved when Janey looked over at him and said "well I broke a nail" after the "dollygate" incident. Also, I think Janey was just a bit tipsy talking to Will (first pic in this recap)

Correction, the decision to bully CG occured before this. Have to search for the video.

I know I'm in the minority being a fan of James. It's sad when you realize the one you were rooting for is a Giant Tool. To be evicted because of Dollygate is pretty funny.

Go Dr. Evil, my new hero!!

The Coup D'etat thing is confusing, but far from clear. It's certainly possible that there was a stipulation that you couldn't use it if you were HOH, but we really don't know. In the second clip ANTf posted above, they're sitting in Boogie's HOH room, so it doesn't prove that it was taken away, it could be that the power can't be used by the HOH. I don't know if that's the case or not, but it is pretty ambiguous.

Also, I think the idol was Otev. Because BB's (not-so) clever like that.

Awesome episode last night...I too have despised Janelle all season, but then she won me back last night.

I think CT may have made their first (and possibly fatal) mistake this week. Dr. Will is a fool if he thinks his "monster" won't stab him "in the front" first chance she gets--he's hot and charming, but Janelle's not that stupid (I hope).

But the main reason why this week is a disaster for CT is, as you say in your conclusion J-unit, that this will set off Danielle who, along with Will, is the smartest player to ever play the game. She is infinitely smarter than Janelle, and will never fall for Will's post-vote bullsh*t.

If James does go, I don't see what choice Danielle has but to align with Janelle and CG, with Erica probably sticking with CT. Danelle and Janelle would be an extremely formidable team.

CT should have gotten rid of Janelle--she's too strong of a player physically to keep around--and helped Erica win HOH to get rid of James, or put James up with CG and dupe him a week later.

Unleashing Danielle with a powerful free agent like Janelle floating around (along with CG's vote) is a bad, bad move on CT's part, IMHO

HoneyBunny (#12) Hear! Hear! I agree entirely!

ANTF (#16) concerning Type Key--you, too, huh?

Okay, I really hate Janelle. I hate her and her stupid scrunchies. Newsflash, Janey: its 2006, scrunchies went out in 1994.

Anyway, I hope CT realizes that if they get rid of James, Dani will catch on then rile up CG and maybe Erica and CT is screwed. I do love CT, but Will made me mad this episode.

I still hate Janelle.

Good bye James. I thought you had a chance there for a minute.

Is it just me or does Mike (give me my street credit) Booger look a little like a younger Dennis Hopper? Nothing builds "street credit" like saying to Howie "there are 20 guys out there, get to steppin'" after Howie got in Mikes face. What a tough guy,a mans man,or weak little punk who would last two minutes on any real street in America!

Street credit!
Street Credit!!

Considering how often our beloved tvgasmers are chastised for grammatical errors, did NO ONE take issue with Georges newest t-shirt except me? "Anyone for a alliance?" GOD that irritated me. Perhaps I have too much free time.

I like watching the show but I could care less who wins the money. None of those idiots deserve it. How would they spend it?

Will - botox
Boogie - kiddie porn
Danielle -lipo on her ass
Erika- face lift [hopefully]
Janelle - clothes and probably a boob job.
James - therapy

I would like chicken george to win. Im guessing he probably has grandkids or kids of his own? Or he can donate it to Hooters employees..

Eric B.

You may be right
I may be wrong. We'll find out when the HG's write their memoirs. LOL

What the heck was up with Janelle hiding her face under blanket while having a conversation -- I guess she's really worried about being seen with puffy eyes on national TV ?

Shoe-In (#34):
I think that Janelle was hiding under the blanket so people would think she was upset... and no one would see that she was actually laughing about playing the players.

Did Janelle flip James off when she said she broke a nail? I thought it was blurred.

Also, I did read that James would shut up about the "dollygate" incident, everyone kept telling him to let it go, and finally started ignoring him. He wanted to review his contract.

I'm with you, ANTF, the Type Key 2-week feature doesn't work all the time. Still, worth it when I want to let loose a rant.

I'm going to let the Coup d'etat controversy go, but I believe Boogie lost the power, the producers didn't tell the players and thus CG was intimidated by Booger. So there!

Thanks, jack. That was the first word that came to mind when I got a good view of Danielle's ass. the girl is very attractive everywhere else, but that beach ball she carries around looks weird.

OK, so now we're doing a lot more speculating. Maybe this game can be salvaged after all. Will, as usual, intuits that this will be a crucial week for CT, so they have to be careful who they put out. I say they will still do in James, unless Will sya otherwise. Can't see what they'll gain by ousting CG, because I feel loyalties are going to shift, big time.

Yes, Janelle is on to Will now and she won't make the mistake of trusting him should she ever get in the HoH again. If she gets it, Will and Boogie are going up or someone will be put as a pawn in order to end up with Will and Boogie on the block. If that happens, Will's a goner and Boogie won't last another week. The worst possible scenario will be if someone allies him/her self with CT and goes to the final 3, in which case CT will be in the driver's seat and win. As shown by a conference in youtube.com. Will has already floated that idea past Boogie, to split the prizes three ways. I would say then that Janelle has a good shot at 1/3 the prize. However, (and correct me if I'm wrong) isn't it against game rules if they try that particular chenanigan? Wouldn't BB be forced to disqualify the plotters and award grand prize to the 4TH place player?

I would so love to see Dani secretly align with Jani to take down Chill town . . . seeing James go will be bliss, but Booger going would be a real call for celebration. Not even his doily of a mother can protect him from my contempt!

I think that what James said has to be one of the funniest things I've ever heard on Big Brother. God help him if he has any male friends at all. I would give him no end of shit for that. I'm pretty sure that you could go as deep in any legal text in the world and under the definition of assault you would never find the words "she ripped the doll out of my hands."

And talk about moping - James was acting like a Yankee fan in 2004 after the Red Sox completed the greatest comeback . . . or the Yankees completed the most spectacular choke job (I'll leave the choice to you J) in playoff history. Oh, and did anyone forget that the Sox won game 7 in the "House that Ruth Built?" Ha! I had to get that in there sometime.

I was in complete shock once I saw Jameth's speech after the Veto competition. I just can't believe a grown man, even the so-called "Veto King" would be capable of acting the way he did when he lost. I've read that a lot of people laughed at what he did. I sat in stupefied shock at how someone who has been trying so hard to be something he is not, to act like a frickin' sissy when he go spanked, badly...by a girl!

My local station bumped BB7 to 9 pm instead of 8 pm... that means I have a one hour recording of the JCPenney Jam, hosted by none other than Dr. Phil & Robin. Yee-ha. Thanks for the recap, J-Unit -- without you I'd a had nothin' but some toe-tappin' country tunes. I'm so bummed I missed dolly-gate. I am, however, so glad that my hatred toward James is shared by so many now.

By the way, Tony A.(#6)... some people really like pussy. NO ONE likes James. It's just not an apt comparison :P

#31 - verbeek16---

yes! i noticed the same thing about cg's grammatical error. irritating as all hell.

i hope to god james goes. if anyone has the youtube links to his demanding production step in, please post it... (i'm looking at you antf!)

ps. what is pat verbeek up to these days???

#41- I think you can watch last night's episode on the CBS BBAS website. It's on Innertube.

Babs (#36) - Yeah I thought she flipped him off. It was pretty awesome how she handled herself.

James's complaint is a load of BS on multiple levels. I recall something on the live feeds about how he's been in some pretty rough altercations in the past -- maybe for a previous job -- and got the impression that he can hold is own against pretty much anyone. I doubt Janie could've gotten that doll away from him unless he was (somewhat) willing to drop it.

I love Janie! To all of the people who have "despised" her this year but didn't the last - even if you question her gameplay, how could you not still love her fiery personality?

Oh and I actually like Will and wouldn't mind seeing him go far with a possible Janelle alliance. It's funny how they both talk about turning on each other in the DR though...

You can watch all of the episodes from this season here (for free). Be Patient, the site loads slowly.

http://www.cbs.com/innertube/player.php?cat=109976

In one of Will and Janie's late night chats, Will mentions that CBS ought to let them team up for an Amazing Race. THAT would be awsome!

Zoo keeper, thanks for the heads up. It's kind of like comparing pussy and parsley, right?

I'm one of that apparently tiny minority of viewers who has always liked and cheered on James. I think his silly protestations this week were as foolish as the rest of you do, but still, it's hard to see where all the venom towards the guy comes from. He constantly gets shit from everyone for doing or saying things the others all get a pass for. Someone above said James "showed remorse" at Howie's eviction. No, damnit, he had nothing to be remorseful about--he voted to evict Ericka, and was the only one other than Janelle who kept true to his word. Time and again he tried to get Janelle, Howie and Kaysar to see CT for what they were, and they simply refused to listen, bringing disaster on the S6 crowd. James has not said a negative thing all summer about "women" as he's charged by someone. James has told fewer lies, and has betrayed fewer people than CT, Janelle, Howie, or most others. I think James is a solid and genuine guy who is just too trusting and blind to see how others play him. So yes, the dollygate crap was dumb as hell and he deserves being mocked for it. But otherwise, the guy deserves a hell of a lot more respect than people here and elsewhere give him. He's gone this time, I'm sure, and it's too bad considering what human junk is left. So now, Go Danielle!

^ I couldn't disagree more.

I dislike James because he's a total hypocrite. He chided S6 for not voting out Chilltown, so what does he do when he doesn't get his way? He joins Chilltown. That makes a lot of sense...

He's always criticizing S6's gameplay but is getting totally played by Chilltown.

He preaches Christian values and is always reading the Bible, yet he can't make it a day without lying or insulting someone. Remember when he called Janelle the dumbest player to ever play the game? That's pretty mean if you ask me. I think the only person who talked more crap about people on camera was Marcellas.

James's betrayal of S6 was the biggest betrayal of the season. He deserves to get kicked out!

c-wise, I remember when James called Janie a lot worse than just "the dumbest player to ever play the game."

doc5467 #48

Wow, you really made me see the light. I think I like James now... Until I read c-wise's rebuttal and it brought it all back down to earth. Scumbag.

nonsense. I've watched every episode this summer and not once has James been reading the Bible or preaching Christian values, etc. Maybe you watch 24hr feeds and see this happening, or maybe you're a year out of date. As to his "betrayal of S6, that's just not true. The other three had strategy meetings without telling James. The other three refused to listen to his pleas to see their own best interests lay in ousting CT. The other three showed little friendship and a lot of open contempt for James. He stayed with them against his own better judgement when they insisted he "backdoor" Jase. He hated the idea and it broke his promise to Jase, but he chose loyalty to the S6 over those concerns. Not until their betrayal was complete did he say, "okay, damnit, screw you. I'll go another direction" and did so. As to his "daily insults", do you even listen to what Will and Boogie and Janelle say?? Far more trash talk comes from them to the camera than from James. But for them, you think it's "cute"! Geez. And look up the word hypocrite.

doc5467

Are you Sarah or James mom? lol just kidding. You make some good points.

I think Will would make a better Survivor than a TAR contestant. His unbelievable way of manipulating people seems to be better suited for BB or Survivor (which seems like BB but with worse conditions which he would surely use to his advantage.)

I would love to see him on Survivor, getting a real tan for once, getting the other contestants to do his bidding, and see Jeff Probst get in his face… man, oh man, that’d be good!

I saw him on Battle of Reality Stars and remember thinking how day-glo-white he was and how he seemed to be just so-so ho-hum in the athletic department. I know he said he is throwing challenges, but I think his best muscle is his mind. Don’t you need some athletic ability, some people skills, and a sense of direction to go far in TAR?

And is it true- is he really dating Erin Brodie from “For Love Or Money”?!

Tony A.: EXACTLY! I'm so glad we had this little talk. I feel so much closer to you now. Hey, pass the parsley, would ya'? :()

zoobabe & derder: THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Order has been restored to the universe, and my life is now complete.

Doc- I'm a James fan, too. He was always the odd man out of the BB6 alliance. But he can be a big hypocrite; he wears christian t-shirts all the time and on live feeds I've seen him read the bible. (On a side note, I saw Janelle read the bible too, it was good for a chuckle). He also called Janelle a "fat bitch" at one point. He's definitely a whiner but he's still fun to watch.

Will sees the situation and recognizes that James will fight for himself above all which is why James joined Legion of Doom to begin with. Will and his little friend are right to vote him out, but they should wait one more week so they don't piss Danielle off, which is what's gonna happen.

I love James and could care less about him reading the bible. What we liked about him last year was that when his back was up against the wall, he just won veto challenges and made fun of everybody. This year, he sort of expected things to fall in his lap and instead of adjusting his game and realizing he might have made a mistake, he just complains about everybody else. He questions Janelle about her loyalty all summer, but has implicit trust with Chilltown.

MrsC: Will WAS with Erin Brodie, but from what I hear his MySpace has been edited from "In a relationship" to "Single." Hmmmm, maybe Ms. Brodie has decided to break up with him via CyberSpace.

J Unit is right, I admit. I also wish James had played a better game throughout; he is a very average player this time at best. I still think he gets a lot of venomous attacks based on generalities and predispositions to find fault with him regardless of what he does. But, his game is over tonight, so we move on.

Thanks boomersmommy! Post #58.

to lalia: I'm black and I don't recall ever saying "get to steppin," not even circa 1995. I think only morons say that and Boogie is a moron

Okay. Now that I've actually seen the episode (thanks again to zoobabe & derder), I've got a few things to say...

#61 pookie: yes he really is. Lalia, maybe you were thinking of "step off". What's so sad about that is that there is nothing less "down" than MISusing "ethnic" and/or outdated slang. That makes him, not just a moron, but a sad, sad poser.

To the good doctor 5467: The reason I can't stand James has to do with the glaring inconsistencies between his own behavior and the aspersions he casts upon everyone around him. Example from this episode -- he starts off by saying Howie's mistake was trusting Chilltown, and that anyone who trusts CT should expect to go home. Later in the episode he says he's placing his "fate" (not dramatic or anything) in Chilltown's hands each week. This is one of many examples where the things he says and does just don't line up.

If he weren't so vocal about his opinions of everyone else, these would be forgivable errors in judgment. He just runs his mouth in such an ugly way that he really has all the negativity coming, as far as I'm concerned. In contrast, Will is someone whose character I despise, but his game play is phenomenal, and when he critiques other players, it is for mistakes that he, himself, does not make. James just gets pissed when his plans don't pan out, and blames it on everyone around him.

Oh, and when he refused to hug Janelle after the HOH comp and told HER it was poor sportsmanship to approach him... I'm so disgusted with that I can't even finish this sentence. Other posters have done an excellent job of pointing out the many other abhorrent things he said & did so I won't rehash, but I hope this clears things up a bit, doc.

I can't WAIT to see him walk out that door tonight. The sequester house is gonna be one big bitter, bitchfest, between Marcy, Big Boy, & James of the
Recent Harm (and his legal team). Thank g-d it's not televised.

"Get to steppin'"

When I heard that it did sound familiar to me. It took a while but now I remember it was something Martin Lawrence once said on an episode of his TV show. It was part of the episode's promotional clip and got played about a thousand times. THIS is probably where Boogie got it from. Sitting at home in 1992 and watching UPN for hipness instruction.

yeah, both sparky and lalia are right. Get to steppin' came out in the early maybe mid nineties on the show Martin. It was hilarious at the time because Martin and his wife's best friend, Pam hated each other and would fight alot. One episode Pam pissed Martin off so bad he pointed to the door shouting, "Get to steppin'!" It was funny at the time, everyone at school copied it but that was over ten years ago and anyone who still says it is definitely a moron.
