Espantoso! - TVgasm

Back in October, TVgasm held its first annual costume contest. We thought it would be a good way to give our readers a chance at a little participation and get some free stuff as well. Everybody's getting dressed up anyway, so why not share with the class and get rewarded for it? Although we didn't get quite as many submissions as we would have liked, there were still a lot of creative entries. Your friendly TVgasm authors voted and we'll show you the winners after the jump.

Third Place - Casey From Laguna Beach in Ten Years

I think there was a lot of pent up Laguna Beach backlash that propelled Casey to the win, but you have to appreciate the courage this reader has to tell a story. Better than a marquee on the side of the Tom Katt theater, right Talan?

Second Place - Celebrity Moms Angelina and Britney

What strikes you about this outfit is the attention to detail. Notice that young Sean Preston Spears Federline has his father's knit cap as well as the proper cigarette brand (I'm sure mom smokes Parliaments) and notice that Britney still has her Kabbalah red string. As for Angelina, look at the care that went into Maddox's mohawk, yet he still has time to honor his heritage with a "My real mom made this t-shirt." It's good to know kids learn irony at a young age.

In these dark days of broken down cities, war torn nations, and a total lack of confidence in American leadership, it is comforting to know that a little girl's dream of getting married to a deadbeat scumbag and giving birth to his scruffy offspring can still be fulfilled. Halloween night I recognized and honored that dream...and you, the good people of TVGasm, have now honored me! I leave you with this thoughtful tidbit from the Snark-O-Tron 8300, "Is it true that Kevin and Britney had sex in a dumpster?" Oh it is true,dear sweet world, it is true! Keep the Dream Alive!

First Place - Peter and Lois Griffin (Family Guy)

This entry was easily the favorite of our authors because of the creativity. The belt buckle, the hair, the beer, and Stewie. It's an unbeatable combination.

I hope the sky falls on Markus Garrison from the Apprentice. I don't care if he was a victim of dishonest editing….it was painful to listen to the guy.

I especially love how, in this picture, Stewie is glaring at Peter's nipple. Just like he would on the show.
