Get Some BAWLS and Go to Project Runway! -
by J-Unit
Those of you who watched the Live Blog of Project Runway last night heard about a great new giveaway from TVgasm. BAWLS Guaranexx, the Official Energy Drink of Olympus Fashion Week is going to provide one lucky TVgasm reader with the opportunity to see the Project Runway show at this amazing event in New York. What's more, you will be accompanied by TVgasm writer EdHill, who promises to lavish the winner with a wonderful lunch at Sbarro following the festivities, provided that he isn't thrown out before then.
Because Project Runway is all about creativity, and TVgasm readers are a very creative group, we decided that the contest should our own design challenge. Because of logistics, this design challenge will not involve some of the things you may be used to seeing, such as a runway, models, or Tim Gunn, but we know you can do it. Details on this contest, as well as how to enter, are available after the jump.
Your challenge will be to create your own outfit. Now, the interpretation is up to you. If you are lazy, you can simply go to SuperTarget (where you'll find BAWLS Guaranexx, as well as at 7-Eleven, CompUSA and grocery stores), buy an outfit, and send us the picture. This is not very creative, and won't get you many style points.
However, if you were to say, make an evening gown out of leftover TVguide magazines, that would likely get you some notice. A panel of judges (the TVgasm writers) will decide which submission is the best, and that person will win the seat next to EdHill at the Project Runway Show at Olympus Fashion Week, courtesy of BAWLS Guaranexx.
To enter, e-mail your entries to runway@tvgasm.com with the subject I Love BAWLS and Project Runway (seriously, I'm going to laugh every time one of those comes into my inbox). We'll take submissions until August 27th(by popular demand, we gave you two more days), and the winner will be announced on our Project Runway Live Blog an August 30th.
TVgasm is unable to provide airfare, transportation, or lodging costs in New York, but we will have second and third place prizes for those that feel they won't be able to make it or really just want to buy their outfit at Target..
Good luck!

Guh? I thought that EdHill's place WAS "lodging." That is, if he doesn't mind that I snore, drink milk straight out of the carton, and use the shower curtain in case of emergency when the toiler paper roll is out...

So same rules as PR- made out of anything- just has to be wearable?

Ok, how fun would it be to sit there with EdHill and yell, "That crotch is INSANE!" as everything came down the runway?!? (The answer is SO FUN!)

I've added a few more days for people that need a second weekend. We wanted to get this out early so people could take a vacation day or find a baby/husband-sitter while they are in New York.
HB,
Don't ask, don't tell...

Does the winner have to WEAR his/her design at the show? If so, I'll have to come up with something that doesn't need refrigeration.

Wow! Mr. Hill and I could drink our Bawls with tequila shots and say cooter all day long at the show. I'm sure I'd be giggling a lot:
Edhill: "I think her cooter is hanging out on the runway!"
KH: hehehehe
It would be too much fun! Sadly, not sure if I could create an outfit, but we'll see...I should of gone to sewing class more often instead of cutting -instead I would talk trash, smoke cigarettes and rag on the cheerleaders.......aaahhhh memories..

Yes jenny10girl but EdHill and I sang showtunes. Of course that was after we did manly things like shoot pool and say things like "cooter"...and stuff. I guess we will have to see who wins the contest.

In fairness Vincent should have gone home this week BUT Alison's dress was horrible and she was clearly only othe show as cute blond eye candy. I have hated her since the casting special and she proves how arogant and full of herself I've always known she was in this interview in EW.

I l always love Tim, but the way he and Awful Alison talked about how fat her model was was disgusting. I am glad she is gone. Hopefully next week crazy Vincent will be gone too.
I love Michael more and more with each episode. And despite initial reservations I am starting to like Laura. I love what an adorable dynamic duo she and Michael make. When she started beat boxing next to him at the recycling place I couldn't stop laughing
