Recap: House: Arrested Development -
by copygodd
Since he can't talk Jeremy into letting him remove a chunk of Tracie's brain, House tells Cuddy he needs a court order. Speaking of litigation, DMo is sitting Cuddy's office. She tells House to apologize so the hospital won't get sued. Then she leaves the two men alone so they can work things out. This can't be good. DMo says he doesn't want to sue House; he just wants to beat the crap out of him. Because House is a bully. And bullies don't back down until they run into someone stronger and meaner and bullier. But he will accept an apology. Because that will humiliate House and make him think twice before leaving another thermometer in someone's ass. House refuses to apologize, though. He says if anything he should have used a bigger thermometer. Then he walks away, leaving DMo to glare at him through the door.
Creepy McStaresalot.
Meanwhile, Jeremy is getting worse. His intestines are rotting from the inside. It looks like he gets his dying wish after all. Just not in a way that'll help his wife. So it's time for another round of guess that disease. Foreman thinks they may have different diseases after all, and convinces House to try different treatments, one of which involves cutting out a chunk of Jeremy's intestines. I can totally sympathize with how Jeremy's feeling right now. Not because mrs. copygodd is in a coma, but because the last time I was hospitalized, the doctor thought they were going to have to cut out a chunk of my intestine. Few things are scarier than the prospect of having to shit in a plastic bag strapped to your side.
But wait! Under the microscope, it turns out that Jeremy's bowel isn't really dead after all. It was just acting dead to get some attention. Which means they split Jeremy open for nothing. Time to go over the symptoms one more time. Only this time Foreman mentions how Jeremy and Tracie ran off together as teenagers because Jeremy's dad was a racist. House says Foreman sees racism everywhere, and asks if he considered the fact that maybe Jeremy's dad just didn't like this black girl.
What difference does that make? A lot. You know why? Because the black girl in question was Jeremy's daddy's daughter! Turns out Daddy was shtupping the neighbor lady and got her pregnant, so all this time Jeremy's been sleeping with his sister. Well, half-sister actually. But that still means the love of Jeremy's life shares his DNA. And not just from swallowing it. Yuk!
So who gets to be the lucky one to tell them? House makes Foreman do it. Jeremy takes the news a little better than Tracie does, because that's how guys roll. Foreman tries to remind them that they're still in love, and that they're not really siblings, which makes it sound like he's advocating incest. Well, half-incest.
Later, Chase asks Foreman to cover for him over the weekend, which prompts Foreman finally to admit that he's dating the nurse and not Wilson. So House has to pay him $200. Ha! Based on House's opinion, though, Foreman asks the nurse if she really loves jazz. She says she loves it at first, but then admits she doesn't really like it; she's only doing it because he likes it. Just like anal.
Considering he's a doctor, you'd think Wilson could get a better room than this.
During the closing musical montage, we learn that Tracie got her own room far away from Jeremy. Foreman decides to stay and hang out with Jeremy a bit. Wilson, meanwhile, checks into a hotel room. Cuddy is upset to find out she's still not pregnant. And House? Well, House has his own problems to worry about right now. Primarily, avoiding having someone shove something in his ass for a change. Because as he's riding home, he's pulled over by a cop. But not just any cop. He gets pulled over by Officer DMo. Looks like House should've apologized after all. DMo points out that House took a pill while he was examining him. Based on that, and House's dilated pupils, he suspects House may be abusing narcotics and searches his jacket, where he finds House's stash of vicodins. Illegal vicodins at that. And the episode ends with House being arrested for possession.
So, what did you think of tonight's episode? Looking forward to House getting a taste of his own medicine? (Get it? Medicine?) Ah, never mind...

I loved when cop guy tripped House. House looked shocked, pretty fantastic. It reminded me of when Wilson rigged House's cane and he bit it . . . he bit it good. Loved it.

Good episode apart from the end when the guy says he must be on drugs because he has dilated pupils. Opiates constrict the pupils making them smaller. Also its dark so that would make his pupils larger. But still...

Yep. Love it that House is going to get his. Great acting, but a bit too annoying at times. Can't wait.
For some reason, as soon as they showed David Morse, I immediately figured he was a cop. Must be because I'd just watched "16 Blocks" earlier that day. His character in "House" promises to be a good one, seething with calculated rage, He IS right, though.
