Earlier, Kathy had warned that two people were going to be voted off, and we learned that one would be chosen by her, and the other would be chosen by a vote amongst the teammates. It wasn't much of a contest, because it was easy to see how badly the three girls messed up, but Yvette kept on trying to work to divert attention from her failures. Unfortunately, she is not that great at reasoning, so she had to resort to basically telling complete lies in order to make her look good. Also unfortunate for her, her teammates didn't let her get away with any deception.

kathy_hilton_shocked_eps3First, when asked why she had been late and wasn't able to secure more than two items, Yvette blamed Jackaay for being slow and holding back she and Ann. Anybody watching the tape could see that was not the case, but Yvette just continued on from there, then saying that Jabe and Latricia held them up with the whole French clue thing. Well, you know Latricia wasn't going to take any of that, and when she mentioned the wild goose chase Yvette had sent them on, Kathy had this great look on her face and exclaimed "No!"

Despite all of that, Yvette continued with her creative storytelling. She tried to bring up the French thing again, saying she had tried to keep that clue for herself but Latricia and Jabe had other ideas, to which Latricia said she only knew French fries and French toast (and by the look of it, lots of French dip sandwiches). She then tried to say that Jabe kept distracting her with phone calls, but he said that they had given them phones for a reason, and that was to communicate. Ann tried to jump in and say that Jabe and Latricia called them before the time was over and told them not to bother, apparently hoping Kathy didn't get any information from the producers on time frames. The whole pathological liar thing was absolutely bizarre to behold, and Yvette claimed later she thought it was her only hope for staying on the show, so she had to deflect some attention away from her, and that was how they did it. She said not all lawyers tell the truth, and when Latricia said she wasn't a lawyer, Yvette simply stated "Not yet!" as if we are actually supposed to believe she could get into a law school where "Gave blow job to the dean" is not a check box on the admissions form.

When it came time for Madison to vote out the first person to leave today, they chose Ann, meaning it would be pretty much be a slam dunk that Yvette would go home. There was no way they could spin it into making her look good enough not to be dropped. Neither of them helped their cases only minutes before. When Jackaay told Kathy that she, Jabe, and Latricia appreciated the opportunity more, Yvette tried to claim her teammates were jealous because she was at the same level as Kathy. Ann, you guessed it! She broke out into song, this time, serenading us with a little "Wind Beneath My Wings." There's nothing like the melodic voice of Bette Midler to keep people's minds off voting you off, right? Well, it might have worked, because even Kathy cried after Ann was eliminated, although we don't know if the tears were for the sadness of seeing Ann go, or happiness knowing she doesn't have to wait for any more impromptu operas or musicals to break out during the show.

When Kathy started naming the people on her list, the final spot was between old rivals Latricia and Yvette. Latricia was there mostly for show, as Kathy tried to create tension by saying the two of them were responsible for their team's lack of cohesiveness and teamwork. She was partly correct in naming Latricia, who would rather let Yvette die than help her win, but Yvette's complete lack of concern during the challenge coupled with her storm of lies to backstab her teammates and save herself made Kathy's choice very easy. Our saucy British tart with the short skirts is gone, and next week, we get to see Latricia on the runway. And who can complain about either of those?

What did you think? Did Kathy make the right choice? How funny was it when people were looking for how to get to Times Square while standing in Times Square? Will Madison ever win?

I think Kathy was crying because she was afraid Bette Midler was gonna sue.....LOL.
Gotta say last nights show was the best so far. What a train wreck for Yvette and Ann.I'm starting to love Latricia. The look on her face when Yvette claimed to be "on the same level as Kathy" was priceless.(well....maybe on level with Paris, but what happens in vegas stays in vegas until the video is leaked)
After hearing Latricia say she thought Ann was breaking into song looking for a record deal, the twit went and did it again not 2 min. later.Kinda proved the point.

So I felt like this series was only okay. Passable entertainment. But wow. Tonight's episode was awesome. That was some funny, funny shit. I couldn't even believe it. Hahaha. Brilliant.

omg. Ann breaking out into song at the end was absolutely priceless. It was borderline uncomfortable though, and I had to explain to a friend who was visiting WHY I actually watch this stuff. As if it wasn't obvious!!!

This show has been so funny. I hated that she got rid of 2 people at once. Will there be enough conflict next week to make it interesting?

Darn. someone came over just before yvette was eliminated. I was hoping to see more of her decieving ways and almost nonexistant skirts.

But to give her credit, Latrica and Jabe were the underdogs in the task at hand. While not the fastest walkers, they got their clues figured out and got the items, AND got home in time.

Yvette was clearly wasting time with her ADD-fueled ballerina practice that the producers decided to fast-forward through.

Yvette has an Amarosa + Maria(apprentice 2) quality to her that I couldn't avoid. Now she's gone. darnit!

Is it me, or is Jackaay really trying hard to dress up nicely, but would ultimately prefer overalls and sneakers? Her outfit seemed out of character.
At least she's giving it a go.

I thought the Park team was the team of screwups, a la Net Worth(less). I guess I'm wrong, since their scorecard is now comparable to Magna's latter tasks.

This all reminded me of the Apprentice 1 task where they ran around town haggling for lowest prices on goods.

i thought jackaay was pretty much worthless since all she seems to do is follow someone else's lead and not be as obnoxious as the rest of her team, but she kind of won me over with her comment about wanting to show that a girl from the traailer paark can make it, so i'm kinda rooting for her now. i like jabe too, i was cracking up when he was talking about how the purpose of a cell phone was to communicate new info, he wasn't just calling to see how she was doing. for team park, rashad is the only one who has shown any sense so far, but it's kinda like this year's survivor when it was hard to have opinions about the team that didn't screw up all of the time.

does anyone know where i can find a clip of jackaay on elimidate? might be humorous.

Last night's episode was truly priceless! I must admit to concern about it not being as much of a trainwrech without those two - yet I'm still glad they're gone. The only way I would've been okay w/them staying is if their team had won. I don't want to see any of the other three go yet.

And WTF was up with Yvette walking around NY in a tutu???? That's almost as bas as Ann's breaking out into song. Also, I can't help but wonder when watching these shows, do the liars think people are simply going to sit back and let them lie??? Hello....video cameras!!! sheesh.

I hope next week is as entertaining. This show is FAR better than I anticipated. I can't stand Paris - wouldn't give her show two seconds worth of watching. But so far I do like this one.

I fast forwarded to the end to see who got voted off and I couldn't believe what a maniac Ann was breaking out in song in the middle of Yvette talking and she just kept going as if it was an underscore. I think Jabe, Latricia and Jakaay were brilliant to vote off Ann, because otherwise it would have been Yvette to go and one of them would be against Ann, or possibly against each other. Very smart...

Did anyone notice the camera zoom-in when Yvette whispered to Ann to bump Jackaay off?

AFter seeing that, I was expeting some sort of twist, like Anne voting Yvette(instead of the agreed-upon Jackaay), and/or Yvette voting Anne off(instead of the agreed-upon Jackaaaaay).

Every time I see Jackaaaay I think of 227.

ann, SHUT UP! i cannot believe that she has burst into song this many times at the most inappropriate moments. i wanted to reach through the screen and STRANGLE her.

I prefer a dish of Borderoni myself. Maybe will see Ann and Yvette at Times Square singing and dancing for nickels and 1/2 of six inch sub coupons for Subway.

Jackaay was more interesting as the crazy chick on Elimidate. Madison may get it together now that those two are gone, but I doubt it.

Is it just me or does Kathy Hilton look at Jabe like she wants to do him, right there on the elimination couch? She looks very turned on when she looks at him.

Glad to see the 2 freaks gone. That asian bitch's singing would drive me crazy. How come no one ever told her to just shut the hell up?

Yvette was a lying evil worthless skank. I also think her accent was fake. I predict she'll be in PentHouse magazine, spread eagle, soon...

I have a double take idea: Jabe and Chad Micheal Murry. Come on! Am I the only one that has noticed?

yeah, but Jabe is hot and Chad Michael Murray is an ugly lion cub!

RE: Yvette; does anyone else remember seeing her on one of those shows on WE network, "Single in Las Vegas"? I remember one episode where she participated in a contest to see who could be the sexiest while riding a mechanical bull; she was just trying so hard, and lost! She also seemed overly desperate to meet and snag a guy, insisting talking to men who did not look very interested in her...
