In not so shocking news, N*SYNC member Lance Bass has said bye bye bye to his heterosexuality in a People Magazine interview where he reveals that he is in fact gay and dating Amazing Race winner Reichen Lehmkuhl. Rumors about their relationship have been circulating the internet for months as various paparazzi photos have shown the two suspiciously close together. Lance explains that he struggled with the decision to come out, fearing that he might destroy N*SYNC. Because let's face it -- the last thing you associate with a boy band is gayness. I honestly wouldn't have expected that. I didn't even believe the rumors when they surfaced a while ago. Well, good luck Lance. Now I wonder which Backstreet Boy will come out... c'mon, you have to expect it.

Is this the standard pose for famous people coming out? It looks like the cover Ellen DeGeneres had when she revealed she was gay.

And about which Backstreet Boys may be gay, even when I was a naive 5th grader, I thought Howie was gay... I don't think I even knew what homosexuality was back then. :)

Good for Lance and Reichen--they are cute together. I look forward to the day when a person's sexuality is a non-issue and not something that makes the front cover of People magazine! Honestly, I do not understand why people have to make such a big deal about it. Sheesh! What's next . . . a cover with Beyonce saying "I'm black!"????

some magazine did a photo spread with Lance showing how he decorates his house for the holidays. Once I saw that- I knew the rumore were true! He hasn't been trying to hide it (or Reichen) for a long time. He's just not "come out" until now. Good for him for bagging a hottie!
