See How the Other Half Lives -
by EdHIll
Back in the cell with Juliet. Se is on the other side of the glass. She asks him to stop with the chain pulling. I guess you could say she wants him to stop yanking her chain. hey oooh! Is this thing on?!? Anyways, Jack just looks at her and demands to know where his friends are. She says she'll tell him if he lets go of the chain. "Do you think I'm stupid?" he answers. "No I think you're stubborn." Julie says.
Cut to Kate in the shower applying some Dharma shampoo (It's a shampoo and conditioner in one for that Otherworldly shine! Get it? Otherworldly! I got a million of em!) When she gets out to change she sees that her clothes are gone. Are the others really just a big fraternity on pledge week? If so, its tough frat to get into. She looks over and sees a locker with the words "wear this" inscribed on the door. She looks inside and sees a dress. Then she looks over at the toilet. A sign reading "poop here". Well, you get the rest. As she is changing she is interrupted by the beardless Other. "It's time to go" he says. A pair of Others come in and grab Kate and lead her outside and down through some jungle canopies. Expecting to see an Otherlike Abu-Ghraib torture chamber with a level 12 titty twister she instead turns the corner and we see Henry Gale waiting in a beachfront cabana with a fancy breakfast all ready for her. Eggs, fruit and coffee. Still, it's not completely torture free as the coffee is Sanka.

As Kate sits down she sees a pair of handcuffs on the table. Henry says that she has to put those on. "Or what?" she asks. "Or you don't get any coffee" he responds chippily. Well, Kate must really want that coffee as she does what she's told.
"Where are Sawyer and Jack?" she asks He responds by asking her why she said Sawyer first, as if that means something. Then she asks why he is doing all this. Why did he bring her here. Why the dress, the breakfast? Henry takes a slow creepy breathe and lets out his first creepy monologue of the season. "I brought you here so you can look out at the water and feel comforted. Comforted that you're friends were looking out at the same ocean. I gave you the dress so you'd feel like a lady. And I wanted you to eat your food with a real live fork and feel civilized. I did all those things so you'd have something nice to hold onto. Because Kate, the next two weeks, are going to be very unpleasant." Then he gets up and walks off. Doesn't even pay the check. Dine and dash. Chew and screw. F'in Others.
In the flashback Jack is on the phone in what looks to be a vain attempt to track down who "the guy" is by calling all the numbers on her cell phone. His father walks in and catches him in the act. "Why are you dialing all the numbers on Sara's cell phone?" he asks. "Because one of them is him" he answers. Jack's father pleads with him to let it go. But Jack can't. He wants to know all about him. Who he is. Then Jack's fathers cell phone rings, its Sarah. "Why is she calling you?" Jack says accusingly. He tells Jack it was because she was afraid, She thinks he's slipping and losing his grip. "I think I know a little something about being obsessive" he adds, trying to plead with him. "Being a drunk is not being obsessive!" Jack snaps back. True. Washing your hands 15 times a day is obsessive. Puking up Goldschlager isn't.
Back in the cell Jack is dehydrated and still trying to get out. When he hears scratching noises on the intercom he goes over to listen to it close up. Then he hears his father's voice saying "Let it go jack". Hmm, we all remember that his father's body disappeared in the crash. What could this mean? He then looks over and its Juliet with some Dharma water and a grilled Dharma cheese sandwich. Ooh and its even got a side of Rosemary! The Others may be inhumanely cruel killers with no feelings of remorse but dammit if they don't have a sense of garnish.
