Nice recap. You're right about the characters. I may not watch another Real World due to the lack of depth of any of the people on the show.

This cast proves that Real World has jumped the shark.

Pay some REAL money to the veterans (RR/RW 1,2,3,4, and maybe 5) that we all want to see again, throw in a few sluts like Tina, Veronica, and Tonya for some drama, and put them on the gauntlet/battle of sexes. Reading this recap, I'm glad I don't watch this season of incredible losers.

I am excited for next week's episode as well. This is the 3rd season of Real World that I have missed many episodes of and I didn't really care that I missed them. I would say that Austin is just as boring as Philly and France. I love this site because I can read the recaps, find out what happened and not have to actually watch the show. Thank you TVgasm!!!

This season had a lot of drama but it was mostly immature drama and not even that interesting. Of course, there's going to be a fight during the last episode.

There are always some bad seasons so I have not yet given up hope for the real world. I will always love it, of course until it sucks.

After watching the scenes for next week it is clear that Neh and Wess need to be sent to anger management and jail!!! What the hell could make then so mad at Rachel to scream in her face like that!!! And then Neh pulled Mel out of the way like that. Why wouldent the producers or the camera people step in that looks like a scary situation. It's the last show so the threat of being sent home dose not exist!! Neh and Wess are assholes!! I hope to never see either of them on any futue shows!!

hey, i've got some news for you. Danny used to hang out with my group of friends (i fucking HATED him, but of course all my girlfriends loved him) and I love how you always rag tirelessly on him. but anyways, he just got back recently from filming "the inferno" and HE WAS THE FIRST PERSON VOTED OFF!!! I know that won't be aired for a long time, but i personally can't wait to watch.

This season sucked just like last season. I couldn't care less what these people are up to once the show is done. They need to revamp the whole show, find a new formula, or whatever it is they do because it is not working. Bring on the Gauntlet, lets get some interesting "drama" going. I hope Rachel kicks Wes and Nehemiah's ass and sends them home crying.

you know, the real world should re-invent itself as the real world-ADULT where they have 7 people (25-33 years old) already with jobs in manhattan--put them all in the same house and let them go at it. i mean i can only imagine having to deal with six other roomies while working 12hr days at a stressful job and coming home to all of THEM. at the same time though, it would allow for an exploration into each person and how they cope in the actual real world.

You know I feel sorry for Rachel. Everyone picks on her. She talked so much about the Army and how she can kick peoples' asses. Well, why doesn't she? If a man would've slapped me, it would have been on!! Someone would have to call the paramedics because one of us would need it. I'm just mad because she just lets people talk to her like that. Granted she is lacking self confidence, but still Wes and Nehiamiah talk about how they have so much game and they act like they know everything about life. It's funny because this whole season showed them being the two biggest idiots. I wish there was a way we could contact the producers and fans could send them their feed back at the end of each season. It might help them to better prepare for the next cast. These kids all act like they know better then each other, they are all hypocrits and if any of them were my kids, I would dis own them and deny I ever had birth to such morons.

This season was the WORST. I don't think I;ll ever watch another season of Real World. All of the characters were either boring, vapid, or stupid. I'd rather watch the challenges. That's why I'm excited for The Gauntlet. To finally see some real drama.

How sad is it that this show is over, we have wasted so much time watching and/or reading recaps, and this is really the worst season ever. I mean in Philly, at least you had some depth in the characters: Karamo struggling to be a hip-hop-homo, Sarah and her eating disorder as well as her dynamivc with her mother. That was all interesting compared to this season. And this one started off so well. There was so much ground to mine with Danny and his mom dying, it just ended badly.

Worst cast. Worst trip. No drama. No compelling hook-ups. Just terrible.

At first I was a little disconcerted with the tone of seriousness while discussing the lack of depth in characters, but it was really good insight. This show used to be about people and what they were doing with themselves peppered with their idiocy and stupid behavior. Now it's just stupid behavior and Mel's chest (thank God).

I'm praying the next 15 challenges don't feature these clowns. Does anyone read the ESPN's Sports Guy's (Bill Simmons) columns? He is a Real World/Challenges fan and wrote the most hilarious column on the challenges about a year ago. I think you many have to pay for it now but I will try and find a copy and post a link...

I still think Hawaii, Boston, and Miami (remember the fight between Dan and Melissa? Classic!) were the best seasons although no Real World moment will ever compare to David singing "come on be my baby tonight" on New Orleans.

Probably because even though Danny is an idiot he still tries to act like he is better then everyone. He was all talking shit when Nehamiah went to jail because he fought someone, but um, wasn't Danny trying to fight people in Costa Rica? Danny thinks he's cool because he has Melinda, but I would be ashamed if I ever dated someone from the Real World or Road Rules. People like that are low lifes who just need the attention because they're self esteem is so low and they actually are dumb enough to think that if they get on these shows that they may have a chance at Hollywood. Please! I used to love Real World and that's why I still watch it, but it gives my a headache to see where it has gone. I agree with the poster who said the real world casts used to have real lives and be going somewhere in life. Now the casts are all college or not in college who still live with theire parents. It's a shame, I hope my kids never grow up that idiotic.
