I know, we all thought this tired show was done after the disaster that was last season, but it looks like Trump and the gang have been revived and stuffed back into suits to yet again yell corporate clichés at hapless losers for countless hours on end. Trump wants Paris, Brit & LiLo

Donald Trump isn't taking new NBC boss and party animal Ben Silverman's reprieve of his reality series The Apprentice lightly. Ben came up with the idea to revive the series with an all-star celebrity edition, and Donald is reaching for the stars to fill it.

They're fallen stars... but pretty big fish nonetheless.

Unholy trinity Britney Spears, Paris Hilton and... yup... Lindsay Lohan... are among the celebs he's wooing to take under his wing and ultimately fire on Celebrity Apprentice next season.

Rosie O'Donnell on Celebrity Apprentice??

NBC's new party animal programmer Ben Silverman is on a roll. Lets see... he's got Isaiah Washington in a development deal (what do you bet research showed more people in the great viewing public who took his side in the "faggot" incident) and using him to pop up The Bionic Woman ... Jerry Seinfeld to give a goose to the ironic woman on 30 Rock... now what can he do to revive Donald Trump?

Celebrity Apprentice!

Well, that definitely beats an All-Star version, considering that aside from Surya Yalamanchili, The Apprentice has always suffered from a lack of All-Star contestant quality.

No celebs came with the announcement, but while we wait for Gary Coleman and Kathy Griffin to vie for an assistant's gig, Ben's already invited Trump's arch nemesis Rosie O'Donnell to be on the show.

What is he smoking?

Rosie's spokeswoman immediately put the kibosh on the plan, saying, "It will never happen in this lifetime or beyond." But then she admitted that Rosie is negotiating with the Peacock on other projects.

Ben alsio announced he's reviving more than the fortunes of Trump is producer Mark Burnett...

A new view of Ivanka Trump?

It's shaping into a bullish week for the humble Trump family. NBC is expected to soon announce they're renewing Donald's The Apprentice despite all indications (like a public Trump tantrum) that the declining show had been canceled.

Now it's Ivanka's turn.

The top story this morning is that Donald's beautiful, leggy 25-year-old stonefaced daughter (and cohost on the grave-digging Apprentice: LA season) is on the list of candidates to replace daddy's nemesis, Rosie O'Donnell, on The View.

Word is that it's Barbara Walters wants to hire Ivanka because she's a "hottie with brains" who'll "stick it" to Paris Hilton and her parents for screwing Babs over when they were trying to sell Paris' post-prison interview.

Trump cheats death!

It looks like The Apprentice is being renewed after all.

Sources tell Reuters that NBC plans to announce a renewal of Donald Trump's primetime starring vehicle and bully pulpit at an annual summer presentation to television critics on July 16, about two months after the show was first pronounced dead in the water.
