But while his Not-for-Jews-Moslems-or-Other-Heathens clothes come with Scripture quotes, and though his company website boasts: "10% of profits donated to pro-life charities," Tarek doesn't sound very Christian or charitable as he talks to Catholic Online about the man who put him on the map and gave him the opportunity to hawk his product and ideology.
"A lot of people have commented about how the show encourages greed and the yearning for material possessions. Donald Trump isn't the most morally upstanding guy, either," says the (reality show) loser. "The truth is, I never really had a burning desire to work for Trump. I saw the opportunity as a great way to open up doors.
"I prayed a lot during my time on the show, because I knew it would change my life. I said a rosary before every boardroom. I wondered what God had in store for me, how I ended up on the show.The most obvious pitfall is having delusions of grandeur -- getting caught up in the fame. But if you can stay humble through the experience, you have an opportunity to touch a lot of people. Hopefully we're doing that to a small degree with Lionheart Apparel."
Tarek's also writing a book entitled "Gut Check: Confronting Love, Work and Manhood in Your Twenties." It's set to be published in 2007 by the ultra-conservative Spence Publishing.

He should have developed a line of pro-life hairgel (no placentas) instead. I'm so glad he's not "caught up" in fame b/c he's using his 15 min. to do good now- right?

He's doing some good with his 15 minutes. Some pose for Playboy, some make a profit to donate a bit to the charity of their choice.
