I'm sorry, but Nicole Richie is funny and has got a sharp wit about her. She made the show. Paris Hilton is beyond vacant...she cannot carry a show by herself.

Slighly off topic, but I haven't watched The SL since season one, when nicole was kind of chubby. I saw some recent pictures, and she's really looking quite svelte these days.

How can you fire the STAR of the show? Nicole was the one who got the parties started and is in the middle of all the mischief. I laugh when she looks at someone funny. Watching Paris is like watching paint dry. Or watching brain decay. Methinks Paris is a bit jealous of Nicoles likeability factor.

I must concur: Nicole was the action. Paris was just along for the ride. If they turn this into a celeb ride-along it will pretty much be Cameron Diaz's show in America and without any extreme sportage.

Well, both girls originally signed for about seven seasons give or take a few, but they are not getting along anymore. Not sure about the Nicole getting fired rumors since I believe it was just announced that Fox is trying to woo Nicole and her fiance DJ AM (great name) to do their own version of Newlyweds. Nicole was always the star of The Simple Life with her personality, but now she is upstaging Paris with her looks and her cleaned up non-heroin classy routine, and Paris is getting jealous so the two aren't friends anymore. Now, if they can score Lindsay Lohan, I do pray her daddy makes some appearances, and I don't mean Bruce Willis/Christian Slater!

Hey, I think I had a bit of a psychic moment (kinda like MYL and B-side). In my post on this thread I mentioned Kimberly Stewart as a possible replacement for Nicole Richie - and look what I just read and reality blurred:

Paris told E!, "I love the show and I just want to freshen it up and make it funner, and bring new things in. Its gonna be a big surprise. Beyond striking a pose, Paris Hilton really has no talents and her 15 minutes of fame for being famous should have long been over. Nicole has musical talent, a great sense of humor and if she's broken off an association with Paris Hilton by gosh maybe she's smart besides.

I think nicole should do her own show on FOX to get back at Paris.

I think Nicole Richie is really HOTTTTT. She is what made the. Paris Hilton is nothing but a boring slut. Every week i tape the show and i watch it about a million times because i can't beleve some of the funny things Nicole does. It just hillarious. There WILL BE NO REPLACEMENT for Nicole in my eyes she has everything the show needs. She should make her own show that will top Paris' show. GO NICOLE RICHIE!!!!!!!!! :-)
