About Those Lack of Updates... - TVgasm

by J-Unit

feb_hiatus.jpg

A lot of our readers e-mailed us this morning wondering exactly what was going on with TVgasm. Fear not for the lack of updates recently. February has been busy with a couple of TVgasm birthdays (complete with Karaoke celebrations), a couple of TVgasm new jobs, a TVgasm layoff, and a couple of TVgasm friend visits in just the first half of the month alone. Combine that with the nasty little flu that is hopping around LA, and we got just a little behind (February is also a hard month to find any coke with all of the Oscar and Grammy party planing going on). We know everybody is anxiously waiting for updates on The OC, The Apprentice, Smallville (all five of you), and of course the season premiere of Survivor. We will have all of these updates for you, but maybe not in time to for you to kill those last few hours of work on Friday.

The good news is that we will have another TVgasm chat next week either Tuesday or Thursday, probably around noon or so PST.

Since my b-day is in February, too, I guess I will let you slide...

Those are probably the best two random photos ever.

I guess I'll have to get another kind of 'gasm to make it through. Your updates, I'm sure, will be worth the wait.

J-Unit LOVES making cocaine jokes.

"anxiously waiting for updates on The OC,..." the OC? OC? Uuugggg. J-unit, pass the coke please!

Well, at least now I know that htere hasn't been some sort of horrible episode at the TVgasm offices that has left all of you incapacitated in some way. I was getting a little worried...

February birthdays rock. It's the getting older part that sucks. T-minus 6 days till mine. And thank God the updates will return soon. Work has been so bland without reading them. I've actually had to work. Nonsense I tell you.

That's funny. I've been slacking on my TV recap blog recently as well (I'd shamelessly link it here, but I'd feel like a douchebag. You can still click on my name if interested...) All the factors you mention have come in to play here on the East Coast as well (though we're ok on the coke, the NYC Fashion Shows -- including Project Runway's -- have depleted our heroin supplies).

I think it's the overkill though. The networks are killing us. There's no longer any time to recuperate from the bs and replenish our brain cells to write competent recaps.

Sigh. We will soldier on. We simply must. For the people.

hey so you won't be done by the end of the day... ok them might as well leave work early... no point in stick'n around now.

Give us the heads up next time, this way I won't come in to work for no reason
