Well, the producers finally slipped up. They’ve given us absolute proof that Lost is centered on a time travel scenario. What proof? That tie. David Faraday’s tie can only be explained by time travel. It somehow jumped from my wardrobe in 1987 to his neck in 2004. I’ll bet he has my mesh shoes too. [...]

My guess is that the producers and writers knew that after such a long time between episodes, viewers were looking forward to slipping into Lost like a warm bath after a long day at work. A Hurley-centric episode was the perfect way to ease viewers back into the show that time forgot. [...]

I had to watch this episode three times to finally decide how I felt about it. My opinion changed each time. First, I had fun watching, cheering the rescue and patting myself on the back for figuring out that it wasn’t a standard “flashback” thanks to Jack’s 2006 or later cellphone and some other clues. So, here we are, the season finale of Heroes. Twenty-two episodes all leading to this moment. Well, what are we waiting for? Let’s get to it!
