Roy Edward Disney, nephew of Walt Disney, passed away this morning. He lost his battle to stomach cancer. He was 79. It was Roy’s brilliance that persuaded the company to invest in computer animation equipment that eventually put out The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King. So sad. R.I.P. Roy.
