Hey guys,
I hope this finds you all well. I beg your forgiveness yet again for my tardiness. Things seem to be back to normal around here so I don’t expect any more weather/election disruptions after this week.
Previously on 666 Park Avenue: Henry saved his boss’ life and met with a media consultant to discuss extending his fifteen minutes of fame. Jane was attacked by Ghost Peter who is the father of Ghost Brat and who hacked his wife to death at the Drake in 1929. A mysterious voice on the phone stole a mysterious box from Gavin after trying to kill Olivia with a speeding truck and knocking her out at the Drake Halloween party.
We open with Jane in the shower as someone sneaks in with an axe. Not Axe body spray, which would be appropriate for the shower, but an actual axe. He opens the shower curtain and… Jane wakes up in bed and the whole thing was just a nightmare. Henry comforts her and tells her that detectives are coming to speak to her about what happened last night if she’s feeling up to it. Henry assures her that the police will find the psycho who tried to kill her. Jane says she wishes she knew why the guy came after her. Because psycho killers always go after dumb blondes who hang out in haunted basements. Duh. Henry gets up to make breakfast.
Gavin is in his office with another man who turns out to be named Sam. I am guessing that Sam is Gavin’s attorney or business partner. Sam says that four of Gavin’s other properties were also targeted and Gavin astutely deduces that someone is trying to send him a message. Sam reminds him they were targeting Olivia too. Gavin tells Sam not to mention the robbery to Olivia and then he says he wants the person responsible to be found quickly.
A random man enters a warehouse loft and unpacks a bag with a carved wooden BOX in it.

He gets a phone call and the caller asks if he has “it,” meaning the box. The caller says he will meet the man, whose name is Mr. Wallace, at noon in Gramercy Park where he will give him one million dollars. But not so fast. Wallace says if the caller is willing to pay one million for the box, somebody else may be willing to pay twice as much. The caller agrees to pay him three million dollars on the condition he Never. Open. The. Box.
Olivia is in the penthouse and Dr. Sexy who examined/hit on Louise last episode is giving her a blood test. Dr. Sexy reassures Olivia that her “fainting” spell at the Halloween party was most likely caused by “Champagneitis” and is probably nothing to worry about. Gavin walks Dr. Sexy out and asks him to bring the blood test results to him first. Because a woman must never be allowed to know the true state of her own blood. Dr. Sexy agrees and Gavin thanks him for the house call. Then Gavin says he’ll call it even that Dr. Sexy was short on his rent last month.
If you like it, spread it!:

I thought Olivia’s ex was in the box. Isn’t that what they were implying during the Gavin and Shaw conversation? And why Olivia was so worried and why Gavin didn’t want her to know?
So that cop tells Henry that Jane might have mental issues and needs help. And then goes and tells Jane that he’s open minded and doesn’t think she’s crazy.
