Jane knocks on Nona’s door again. I’m sure her neighbors appreciate her banging on their doors at odd hours. Jane tells Nona that Henry’s fine and Nona saved his life. Nona pretends not to know what she’s talking about. Jane says Nona is “special” and she knows being “different” can be scary, but Nona can talk to Jane any old time. Jane leaves and we follow Nona inside her apartment, where she is saying that she should have kept her mouth shut instead of warning Henry. Oh, and Nona’s grandma is alive, albeit catatonic in a wheelchair.
Nona says that maybe she can trust Jane and that maybe Jane can help them.
Henry sadly throws the flash drive into the fireplace. I don’t like sad Henry. Also, I hope he made another copy of the files, just in case. I doubt it though. He’s really not that smart. Poor Henry. Jane comes in and says he should have told her he was in trouble. Henry says he wanted to protect her. Jane says they are supposed to protect each other.
At the mayor’s house, Pike is getting arrested and Annie is getting zipped into a body bag.
Gavin looks out over the city from his balcony. Olivia comes up and he says that he was right, Henry is a hero. And then something about everyone being allowed one mistake. Then Gavin says that he heard from “Steinberg” that the investigation on him has been suspended based on Pike’s pending indictment from the unsubstantiated story that a dead reporter made up. Olivia says sometime she forgets that Gavin can do magic. He says it’s easy when he has a lucky charm like Olivia.
Nona wraps Grandma up in a blanket as Kandinsky is loaded into a police car. Jane and Henry lie in bed. Henry asks how Jane knew that something was wrong when she yelled out to him. She says she looked up and saw the gun and she must have a sixth sense when it comes to Henry.
Nona sneaks through the hall and hangs Jane’s necklace on their doorknob.
Meanwhile, black smoke comes out of the closet and enters Jane and Henry’s bedroom. The smoke takes the shape of a man and… we are out.
Next time: Annoying Ghost Girl is back. There is a power outage and a costume party. Olivia is being held somewhere. Jane is being stalked on the fifth floor. Smoke Guy is happy to be home.
So, how are you all enjoying the show? I am liking it more and more, even though, as I keep saying, it is ridiculous. I’m glad that we are getting to see more about Nona’s background. Any speculation as to what happened to her family? I’m sure the Dorans had something to do with it.
I was also glad to get a break from the Brian/Louise/Alexis storyline because for some reason I find it boring. Also, I want more Tony.
