   From the previous episode – Poor Lana!! She had such back luck after she escaped Threadson. At least her and Kit are united now.

   Can’t wait to see Threadson’s fate. I hope Lana gets revenge.

   I think the only reason Mary favored evil Santa is because he had past conflicts with Sis Jude. Mary wants her dead and knew evil Santa would kill her if given the chance.

   AHS is one of my favorite shows on now and this recap was just phoned in. You missed so many important details of these two shows. I think you need to try harder or let someone else take over.

   I did leave out some important details because I was trying to get this up. After missing last week, I needed to submit this ASAP. I also have many other things going on, exams are over this Friday. If people really feel that I need to step down, then so be it. But this was one episode out of many.

   AshSmash I don’t think you need to step down. I feel that your recaps are great! It’s hard to please everybody. Life gets in the way, especially during the holidays. I appreciate you just getting the recap up. I too am in the middle of finals and I cannot imagine worrying about my exams on top of getting a recap up. If strangegirl95 doesn’t like they way you do your recaps, the she can go somewhere else. We don’t need the negativity here. Thanks again for all you do. I do enjoy reading your recaps.

   I have to agree. I’ve read each of your recaps and the jokes aren’t funny, shoehorned in, and detract from the summary.
   You often miss huge plot points and sometimes get names of characters wrong. 2 part review was brief and had several errors.

   Thanks Lurker! I appreciate your kind words. I signed up to do this, so I cannot use my exams as an excuse. We have not many more episodes and I know the plot will thicken, I have thought to myself many times before that I need to work on getting more details in, but I also need to get to the point of the story. You readers are what really thrive on this website!

   Ash, I would just say upfront you need to keep this brief, and invite us helpful gasmi to fill in the blanks!

   That necklace story was beyond eerie, I cannot imagine swallowing and re-swallowing those rubies, nevermind fishing them out of the toilet. ew.

   Also, quite the double whammy on Jude . . . yes, it made no sense that she was suddenly back in her habit, but it was such a mean trick by Dr. Sleaze!

   I still can’t make heads or tails of the aliens involved . . .

   Sister Mary was using evil Santa to kill Frank, because Frank wanted to go to the police. When he didn’t have a weapon, she did it herself, and just blamed him.

   Also, decorating the tree with dentures, and human hair, ew.

   Very sorry to see Grace get killed, so stupidly too. I have weird feeling they will be coming back into the story somehow, at some point. They being her and Alma.

   The angel of death seems to be some kind of sister of the devil in Mary, a bad ass one is the impression I get.

   Poor Jessica lange, that was not easy doing those fight scenes, what a trooper!

   And Kiddies, when you find Santa in your house with blood on his fur, RUN!!!!!

   By the way AshSmash I get why some people might be frustrated. The show is getting more convoluted and people were probably hoping for a recap that was not only humorous but also shining a light on what the hell is going on. Life does get in the way sometimes and since you’re not getting paid for this gig and we’re not paying to view this site people need to be a little more charitable. This one was a little rough but have been entertained by your work up until now, so thanks.

   The recapper who does Boardwalk Empire does a great job not only being funny recapping a generally serious show with many complex plotlines and many characters. So I’d say by way of constructive criticism if you don’t read those recaps check them out it might be helpful.

    Jason – The Angel of Death is the house keeper from season 1. I am so excited that more and more actors/actresses are popping up from season 1!!! Dylan McDermott next week. EEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

    Judd – I agree w/ you about the ruby earrings. Totally gross, but I think it says more about the woman that was swallowing them!

    Looks like Dr. Arden got to meet the aliens too!!!!!

    I thought the story about the earrings was horribly sad. I can imagine someone doing that just to hold onto a piece of who they were, what they had before everything was shattered in their world. Just like many things this season, it’s so “real world” awful that I feel sad long after the show is over. I still love it, the acting is so good and I can’t wait to see how it all ties together, but yeah Nazis, experimenting on humans, sick ass serial killers doing heinous things to innocent people, the way gay people were treated not all that long ago, etc. are all real and therefore, to me at least, much more scary and yes, sad than season 1 ever was.

    @AshSmash I think your recaps are just fine. I’ve already watched the show, I know what happened, this is tvgasm, so I kind of expect the recap to be more of the humorous, breezy variety and not an in-depth dissertation. For anyone looking for that, and a whole lot more, check out Entertainment Weekly’s recap by Jeff Jensen. You want details, he’s got details, believe me. It’s quite interesting.

    Oh, and good luck with the exams. My daughter is enjoying her end-of-the-semester-happy-fun-time, too!
