Rob asks her how she felt during the shoot and she admits her fear to the judges. When Tyra asks her what the worst thing that could happen would be, she gets all choked up as she points to her noggin.
My pumpkin head could split open
and spill out all the seeds.
So after the social media scores are added in, Tyra announces best picture. This week’s winner is Nastasia! I bet she shares the suite with Kiara.
After Nastasia, the girls are called in the following order:
That leaves Brittnay and Leila in our bottom two. I would never have imagined these girls would be in the bottom two this early in the competition. I can’t see either of them going home. Maybe this will be the week Tyra saves a girl, since Harvard Maria quite.
Tyra tells Brittnay she came in with a brand but seems to have lost her way. She tells Leila that based on her challenge score it seems like she’s only a model in photographs. As she is talking to the girls, Brittnay is sobbing away while Leila has a few tears, but it seems apparent Leila doesn’t believe she is going home.
Leila consoles Brittnay as the scores are tabulated.
It’s okay, Britt. I’ll avenge your elimination.
But then the final scores appear on the screen and it is Brittnay who has eeked by with a higher score and will continue in the competition.
Not at all what Leila expected.
Everyone is stunned. As Tyra hugs Leila, she says she couldn’t believe it when she saw the scores.
No one cares what you think, brattyboy.
Although, in this instance I have to point out, that Bryanboy is not alone. I tracked the scores this week carefully, to make sure there weren’t obvious shenanigans. Turns out, Leila had the second highest social media score (6.01) behind Kristin’s whopping 6.1. The next closest after Leila was Nastasia at 5.85.
That’s a pretty big difference.
Which calls into question if Kelly’s score of a 4 for Leila’s picture wasn’t an obvious sandbag. Kelly hated other pictures this week just as much, but every other hated picture got a 6 from her. If Leila had also gotten a 6 from Kelly, that would have put her in 7th place and Brittnay would have been sent home. But it seems to me that Tyra wants the social media to have more relevance, so she’s ousting a fan favorite to keep the drama high. My guess is they all expect Leila to be the girl who returns with a vengeance.
Thanks for the obvious manipulation, Tyra.
Good-bye Leila. Good luck!
What do you think, gasmii? You guys are the fourth judge too. Let’s tell Tyra what we think of this BS and I’ll tweet it. Who says Bryanboy gets to have all the power?
See you next week.
P.S. Apologies about the quality of the pictures this week. The popularity of the show is fading so quickly that it has become hard to find anyone willing to help me acquire it.
