The models all return home and their challenge scores are posted.
Crap, my FSU girl is lagging.
Allyssa recognizes she’s in trouble and says she plans on stepping up her game at the shoot to save her cutie patootie. Leila also tells us that she knows she has a good look and could totally win this whole thing but the challenges are bringing her down and she’s supremely frustrated.
That night, Kristin has apparently taken the idea of sharing the Tyra Suite to a whole new level. Did Laura really inivite our mean girl to drag her mattress and comforter into her private room for a little high school sleep over?
Maybe Laura is a tactical genius and is asserting
subliminal dominance over Kristin.
But probably not. Laura and Kristin continue to wax poetic over how much Leila obsesses about Laura. Kristin is smart enough to know she needs to make sure her platform heels put a permanent wedge between Leila and Laura if she wants any chance at having a single friend in the house. But deep down inside, it sounds like Laura feels guilty.
“I have to keep reminding myself, I’m not here to make friends.”
Meanwhile, guess who is having a little pow wow of her own about the same situation…
What the hell? The budget didn’t allow for dressers
or closets? How small is this place?
So Leila is moaning to Kiara that Kristin is evil and Laura’s choice of Kristin for the Tyra Suite indicates Laura is sketchy. At which point, the true master of our mindgames emerges.
Kiara feeds the fire.
Suddenly, Laura enters the room.
This appeals to Leila not at all.
But Leila is hurt and pissed, so she musters up the courage to confront Laura. Leila asks why Laura is saying she is obsessed with her. Laura is caught off guard by Leila’s honest approach and can only think of the lame response, “why do you keep saying that?” Which Leila hasn’t been saying because she didn’t even know it was being said until a second ago when Kiara stirred the pot.
But at least Laura tries to save face by
having a conversation with Leila.
You are all pawns and I am the master.
Leila clarifies that she actually thinks Laura is kind of obsessed with herself.
Laura’s fake superior smile transforms to confusion.
More girls enter the room as the conversation escalates and now Laura has moved into a defensive position on the floor while rubber neckers take her place on the bed. Laura tries to turn the tables by accusing Leila of discussing their personal stuff with Kiara, although no one points out how much she and Kristin have been ruminating the same thing.
That’s right, my little pretties. Keep escalating. Keeeeeeep escalating.
