Hello again, Gasmii!
It’s the seventh episode of the America’s Next Top Model College Edition and things are becoming harder to watch. With these horrible new additions to the judging panel and the pointless challenges and dark photo shoots, I’m thinking this season could be the show’s swansong.
Have we jumpsuited the shark?
This week’s episode starts off with the girls returning from panel. Laura is beyond thrilled with herself as she won both the challenge and best picture.
Yay, perfect me!
Meanwhile, Victoria tells us she had a terrible go of it, being in the bottom two. When they called her name as the model who gets to stay, she tells us she lost the feeling in her feet and couldn’t breathe.
Perhaps she is too fragile for the stress of the modeling industry.
Laura moves back into the Tyra Suite and decides she will stay in it alone, since this is a competition and she learned her lesson about making friends.
Choose me! Choose me!
After Laura says she’s going to fly solo in the presidential suite, Allyssa walks away saying that it’s fine – she’ll earn the Tyra suite herself. And then she comes on in confessional and explains how she doesn’t want to get in to the Tyra Suite on anyone’s accolades but her own.
She’s getting a lot of face time on camera.
Damn, we all know what that means…
*sigh* Now I’m depressed. I don’t want my college girl to be sent home, although it really is her time. She’s just not standing out enough. And so, with a heavy heart, I forge on in my recap.
As Allyssa is griping to the girls in the pink room that she’s frustrated that she gets fairly close to best picture but never actually wins it, we are once again treated to visions of Kristin stuffing her face.
I’m sure the other girls appreciate the bugs her crumbs will attract.
And seconds later, Kiara comes in to ask if they are all planning on eating the dinner she’s making. I wonder if Kristin will be scarfing that down too.
She continues to eat while waiting for dinner to be ready…
And there she is eating Kiara’s chili.
Kiara’s meal is weird. It looks like she confused chili con carne for chili con corn.
Meanwhile, Victoria isn’t eating at all. She says it’s because she doesn’t eat red meat, but the girls are all beginning to notice she rarely ever eats and exercises way too much. Victoria says she misses her mom so much she can’t taste food. That’s like when your boyfriend breaks up with you and you lose your appetite for weeks out of heart break. This girl has got some seriously misplaced feelings for her mother.
