Laura’s up first for the shoot. As she’s waiting for things to start, Kelly arrives on set and kisses Jiz – I mean Jaz, nope It’s Jez (the photographer) hello. The get started and Johnny’s all “your head’s not reading right. Remember you’re selling a shoe.” Things aren’t going well. Kelly says she thinks Laura should be standing up. And then Jiz is like, “there’s no light if she stands” and Kelly’s all “Duh! F*king light this bitch, cause for once we got money on the shoot and this is my client.”
They continue to shoot and Kelly keeps telling Laura to be less sexy while Johnny’s saying the shots are awesome and she should keep doing them just like that.
Anyway, as they continue on, Kelly says all the girls should be standing for their shots. Jiz sneers he wishes someone would have said that six hours ago when they were lighting this stupid thing. Kelly rightly says he should bitch to the producers about it, not her. He says he wasn’t bitching, he was speaking his opinion, which he’s entitled to, unless she wants to take the photos herself.
So now Kelly’s all like, “where’s the producer I’m insulted and he’s threatening to quit” and Jiz is all like, “she’s a bitch and I don’t have drama on my shoots” and Kelly’s all “I’m the consultant. This is my client. Do what I want and shut up about it.”
It doesn’t seem like she gets a chance to shoot anymore which sucks since they started fighting like five minutes into her shoot. Leila is up next and I think she’s looking fantastic. But Kelly and Johnny are not happy with her body and say she still hasn’t learned H-to-T modelling. I can see what they mean as her foot is foreshadowingly turned in like a broken wing, but she’s supposed to be selling shoes.
Now we cut back to the runway show and we learn they are an hour out from the big performance. The girls are doing the final fittings of their clothes. Laura tells us they are wearing $33,000 couture dresses.
Now we cut back to Tyra and she’s telling us that Top Model is cooler and edgier than ever. I beg to differ. Unless you’re a gamer. Then this brutal editing must seem pretty awesome. So Tyra’s point is that now theyr’re with Nylon magazine, which as you can see is clearly edgier.
