Tommy shows up and the two walk in yet another rapey alley.

“Back off my man, sugartits, Oliver is mine.”

It’s now stated that Ruby and Tommy are basically fuck buddies.  She brushes Tommy off, and the two part ways.  As she’s leaving we can see GA up in a fire escape stalking her. 

“We can share makeup tips and talk about boys and synch our periods.”

Flashback to Ollie seeing the island for the first time and narrating that those bitches on his list are going to wish he had died.

A random bald guy is walking on what looks like the Queen estate in the background, reporting that the men he hired to kidnap Oliver could not be identified by the police, and offers to arrange another abduction.   The figure he’s talking to turns to the camera and, BAM, it’s Mrs. Queen!  That fucking ice cunt.  She says no, that there are other ways to find out what Oliver knows. 

“He knows something.  I can feel it in my mole.”

Well, how was it?  I was totally prepared to hate this show and scarsticap the shit out of it, but I actually enojyed it!  It’s got some decent actors I really like, and I’m digging the dark tone.  What are your thoughts?  How long can they milk the tension between Laurel and Oliver before jumping the shark?  And when will she become full on Black Canary?  What the fuck is wrong with Oliver’s mother?  And when are Tommy and Oliver spend a drunken night in the same bed?  Let’s chat all about it in the comments below.  See you gasmii later!

    I liked it, especially Oliver’s workout routine. They need to show more of that, less of David Cassidy’s daughter. She and Oliver had ZERO chemistry. What poor casting for Black Canary. She must give great blowjobs ‘cuz girl keeps getting roles but she couldn’t act her way out of a wet paperbag.

    The premiere was pretty good but the show would be great if Oliver and Tommy became lovers with sex scenes each episode.

    Just sayin’.

    I mainly watched this because I love superhero and fantasy shows,but based on the commercials I had kind of low expectations. Which is probable good since I had high expectations for Grimm and turned out to be disappointing. But I really like this show, I thinks it helps that I don’t know much about Green Arrow. I love that he’s already Green Arrow. I was kind expecting this to be an origin story, but I’m glad it’s not.

    wish they had used the guy who played green arrow on smallville………..wonder if superman will show up..i have 1st eps on my computer so have not seen it yet..

    This recap was great and full of snark. Best line that summed up while I will be watching next week – “Then Queenie is shirtless for no good reason, so this show is really shaping up to be good.” They really just need to spend about five minutes on GA’s workout routine, but only if he is shirtless the whole time.

    I have never heard of the Green Arrow comics so I am happy that they are giving back story to the character.
