A new year is almost upon us, and we need to start it with a fresh, new, hilarious recapper. The contestants have been battling it out for a panel of current writers, and this is our best and brightest list. Read the cappies and do your American duty by voting for your fave!! Voting lasts until New Year’s Eve, and the winner will be announced the first day of 2013! Good luck to the fighters and thanks to everyone who entered!

Ronnie Karam has been with TVgasm since 2006 , which has given him the opportunity to make fun of hundreds of TV's most loved and hated reality whores. His plan in life was to be Julia Roberts but that plan was stolen by, well, Julia Roberts. He'll get you one day, JULIA ROBERTS!! When not making himself giggle for the gasm, Ronnie performs improv and sketch comedy at IO West in Hollywood a couple of times weekly while using the lovely California days to audition for commercial roles such as "ADORABLE MEXICAN UNCLE". Seriously. He would like to thank Jesus, Buddha and Xenu for the blessings they've bestowed. The writers here are the best around, and he's honored to be associated with them.     I agree with you guys… #4 is great, but I do like #1 too. # 5 swears too much and that’s saying something coming from me. I just don’t like calling girls cunts. Besides, #5 acts like they hate the show and a recapper should at least pretend they enjoy the show they are talking about.

    I’m thinking the results for #5 are a bit “less than legitimate” (since not a single normal poster here has said anything about liking #5 the best).

    #4 is the clear winner here, in my book.

    @featherhead – you’re crazy. They’re cute, but monkeys are primates and they do scary things! I’m lucky though, I live in San Diego and I bought a zoo membership so I can visit them whenever I want. I’m REALLY in it for the pandas, though.

    I voted for #5, because it was the funniest recap by far – some great snark in it. As for legitimacy, I may be the first on this page to say #5, but if you click on the results of the poll there’s a few comments supporting #5 as well as #4.

    Liked #3 and #5, and actually I think the show is a crock. Lana reminds me of a posturing turkey buzzard.

    Well this was certainly one of our most spirited and talent packed finals in a long time. Thanks to everyone who entered and voted!

    The winner is…..this is EXTREMELY CLOSE…

    Fighter FOUR!!!

    BUT

    The votes were so close that I’d be an idiot not to ask Fighter Five into the fold as well. Great job guys! The shows they’ll be recapping will be announced soon. Thanks for a great battle and Happy New Year!!
