After everything gets broken up and everyone calms down, Christina realizes that she was totally in the wrong. And, she apologizes! I was shocked too. But, the damage has been done. Now, everyone is just waiting to see if Christina can be trusted. There is a palpable wariness amongst the girls now.
They go snorkeling and everyone is getting along (I think there was more “getting along” in this episode, than in any other episode of any other season so far). After snorkeling, the girls ride on a float and have a great time. No real fighting or instigating or anything. It was surprising and refreshing.

When it’s time to head back to the BG House, Char 2.0, Falen, and Julie’s bloat all ride back together. Char 2.0 and Julie are trying to convince Falen that she is getting to close to Rima. Which is stupid. There is no better way to get someone to choose a side than to try to force them to choose your own. Falen plays the “I can be friends with who I want to be friends with” shtick and we are left to see how that bit of manipulation is going to play out in later episodes.
Now, this was kind of heartbreaking. Char 2.0, being her ever pleasant and tactful self, asks Ashley why she’s fat. I swear how has this girl lived as long as she has without being punched in the teeth? Anyway, Ashley (and I admit I got a bit misty, but I’m totally blaming the alcohol) says that she had an abusive boyfriend who would force her to starve herself. She became an anorexic. And, I don’t know about you guys, but I totally wanted to pack Ashley, her footie pajamas, and a teddy bear up and bundle her off to stay with my mom for a few weeks. She would totally learn all she would ever need to know about being confident and not taking crap from anybody (plus, my mom would totally give her a Taser for her birthday, and I think that is the perfect gift for her). Anyway, even the queen of bloat herself, is touched by Ashley’s history.
Is she really crying or is she just poking herself in the eye to look sympathetic?
Christina talks about her temper while on the phone with her boyfriend. She talks about her fight with Ashley and how she wants to be better at controlling herself. But, as I said, it may be too little too late. Rima is talking to Falen about how dangerous Christina is and how she shouldn’t be in the house. Here’s hoping that Rima doesn’t burn what good will I have for her by pulling her own bully show to get rid of Christina.
If you like it, spread it!:

Christina was upset because they left her in the room by herself and she was scared. Apparently she doesnt like being alone.
Christina (and this is just what I think she said) is scared of being alone. I am assuming she’s told Barbie this. When she woke up she was freaked out to be alone and was upset that Barbie left her.
I also prefer balance. I like to see the girls get along but I also like to see them fight.
I hope that Christina is able to take on the true spirit of the bad girls club (the seasons before Kristen and Lea) and change for the better.
I don’ t mind them getting along. There still can be great drunken episodes sprinkled in between – like crazy Judy did in NO or whats here name from Miami. The double personalities has a way of scaring reality into the others who thought they were all that.
As they say – idle hands/minds (what little they have) are the devils playground. Even if they all love each other it will break eventually.
What I’d like to see is a real bad girl farking one of the other bitches boyfriends. That would be the biggest coup next to T-Dolla getting hippie tossed via a phone call.
Glad to see you around Plath.
You devious Minx Labowner! I love it!
Hey ladies…I know this is a rookie question but now that I am hooked I need to ask…well on behalf of BF Gypsy that is (bless his heart) WTF is the point of this show?
It’s not the RW it’s not a RH franchise it’s not Jersey Shore, I just don’t understand what the purpose of this show is. What is the concept? Bitches fighting till the end?
@gypsy – that’s the beauty of the show – there is no concept… no prizes, no nothing. Some of the girls actually try to better themselves, some end up getting their own show ala Tanisha.
I still don’t care for Rima. I think she’s behaving now because all the girls had ganged up on her at one point and she had no leverage in the house, and now she’s just getting back on stable footing with a few of the girls. But she was the first one in the house to initiate some bullying when she and Erica ganged up on Megan for (at that time) no reason. She then tried to rally the girls to get Megan kicked out of the house, failed miserably and cried like a baby over it. The only reason she’s not manipulating and bullying is because she’s not good at it. I suspect she’ll try with Christina though now that she has an ally in Falen. If anyone has a legitimate beef with Christina it’s Ashley not Rima
I think this show was suppose to be sorta like that old show Starting Over House(can’t quite remember if that was the name), where the bad girls would go to the house and grow…yea that only happened with a few girls over the YEARS this show has been on.
I had hope for Erika being a favorite and she turned into a following bully. I want Barbie out that house ASAP, that is not the place for her broken self. I agree she should be kidnapped(footie pjs and all) and shipped to my Mommy and Daddy’s house. Mom would teach her how to be a strong woman and Dad would teach her how to F** a dude up and give her all the evil ways to hurt a man(yes I learn about hot grits from him).
Am I the only one who wants to punch J-Bloat every time she is on the screen? I’m not fond of MoBama either. I’m in-between with Christina, but it may only be I dislike J-Bloat so much. Falen is a waste of space.
I’m betting that the producers either didn’t really like Erika and had grown tired of her, or recognized how dangerous Erika is physically. She’d just spent a week torturing Rima, then beat her ass, and I bet that had she been allowed to stay, Rima would have been abused every day, and that sort of thing becomes a liability eventually. Plus, the fans arent into bullying, so Erika might have derailed the season. Personally, I think it was a good call.
@Judgy – I think it’s just the idea of “watch effed up people do stupid shit,” really. They kind of had the pretense in the beginning of the show’s run that they were there to change, but the show didn’t really do much to help them change or anything. So you know, the Bad Girls get to feel famous while we get to judge them. It’s a win win for everyone really.

Dammit. I meant to edit the first one to reply to the right person, not post twice. Oops.
Remember when they tried to make them have jobs? Jennivasia (sic) had to leave because she refused to work. That’s when they worked for the promoter doing parties. That premise didn’t last long.
Thanks everyone. I wasn’t too far off in my thinking. I find it fascinating that they choose these eff’d up girls and put them up in a mansion only to destroy it, each other and everyone’s possessions. Personally, I don’t understand why anyone would want to do that to themselves or others but I can’t stop watching! I too thought it was a little bit of a self help experiment and I guess kind of still is to some of the girls. Like when Rima keeps saying she wants to get ‘this’ out of her system so she can be a good mother to her son (as lame as that logic is), I can see it.
I totally agree with Erika being a liability, her bullying was just getting annoying and I don’t think it was gonna stop. I mean I understand being bad but saying someone should hang themself is ruthless. I have a bad feeling about Ashley too and I really can’t see why they picked her to be on the show but I guess we’ll see.
Hey guys, I am working to get Honey Boo Boo recapped, so haven’t been able to respond. Will get back to this conversation the second HBB is up.
PlathA, @15, YOU are going to ‘cap HBB? Suuuu-weeeet! I can’t wait not to watch and read your ‘caps. Thank you, thank you for yet again sacrificing yourself.
Plath I think I’m going to need to read your recaps for a translation, good luck that was tough to watch but I know you’ll nail it!
Sooooooooo glad Erika is gone…telling someone to hang themselves is just going too far! I do hope she comes back and kicks Julie the Hutt’s ass at the reunion though!
Christina is freaking crazy. You are an adult, you should be freaking out like a lunatic because someone left you alone to sleep. She came across as a total whackjob for that. I was glad Ashley stuck up for herself. She is by far my favorite person in the house!
Plath…OMG, I can’t wait!!!!
@jerseyj, Ashley is my favorite right now as well.
@moli – were you thinking Charm School? This is to your post #8.
@jerseyj – I was partial to my own “Juli-saurus” nickname, but you just took the crown with “Julie the Hut”. Tip my hat, sir.
No featherhead wasnt Charm School a spin-off of Flavor of Love.? The show Imreg talking about came on regular television end 90s possible early 00′s. When I get home I’ll look into it.
Yep the show was called Starting Over. Good memories folks.
@enrique’s mole, glad I could amuse you
BTW I’m a ma’am, not a sir :p
Julie the Hut? Juli-saurus? You guys are awesome! @Gypsy and Snowshoecat, I was actually pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed HBB. That recap should be up later today.
@Liz, you are correct about the premise when the show first started. The whole point was for them to learn to live with others and leave the bad behavior behind. The only problem was that they kept the house loaded with alcohol, so there was no chance of them not showing their asses.
PlathA @26, on your recommendation I’m going to try it. I was expecting the horror that was “The Mickie and what’shername Show” so I didn’t bother. Must say that Alana and family are more appealing in a crude sort of way.
Once again Plath, thank you so much for coming to my rescue. You are a saint for doing this show. Then again doing Honey Boo Boo makes you above a saint which means you are what……an angel? It’s very surreal to read a recap of a show I’ve been doing for 7 seasons written by someone else but at the stake of losing my job, I love your take on these twits. And as for HBBC, if you ever need a fill in, let me know and I’ll try to match your hilarious yet wise take on the show. LOL love ya girl, thanks again hon, you are a life saver!!! I want to send you a gift but I don’t know if you’d rather have flowers or vodka? Let me or flipit know and it’s yours!
Oh and @Moli J-Bloat is the perfect name!!!
Aww! Cherie, thanks! I look forward to your recaps every week. And am honored when I get the chance to fill in for you. I don’t know if I could be considered a saint or an angel though. I think I drink and swear too much for either title.
Speaking of drinking, Vodka would be awesome. It’s not necessary, but I totally won’t turn it down. And, I totally agree that J-Bloat has a great ring to it. Thanks for letting me join in the fun.
Repeat…bummerz. I wanted to see another fight!
