Basketball Wives LA Recap: Oh The (Habitat For) Humanity!

Bambi says that Brooke said that Draya was selfish and Draya isn’t happy about that and says Brooke needs to let it go, she doesn’t care about the cover. She goes on to say that if Draya had stayed at the shoot, things would have been different. Bambi interviews that Draya and Brooke don’t know what friends are.

A friend would tell you that you look ridiculous.

They bring up Laura’s birthday party, and Draya, again, isn’t going… because she doesn’t like how Laura and Jackie are all fake. Oy vey, Draya… get over yourself. If I can get over your shoulder pads, you can get over the fact that all of y’all is fake.

For Laura’s birthday party, Gloria invited all the ladies to get their make-up done before they go out. Drama free. (I hope not.) Gloria, Brooke, Malaysia and Jackie get there first and then Laura walks in and is all surprised. She asks where Bambi and Draya are and Malaysia says they’re coming. Bambi walks in and is wearing a baseball hat with raccoon fur on the brim. She tells the ladies that Draya isn’t coming because she doesn’t like all the fake bitches. Brooke says that Draya shouldn’t worry about Jackie and Laura’s friendship because she doesn’t know how to be a friend to Brooke. (Gadz, these women make the biggest deal out of every. single. thing.)

“Free Bikini”, is it a Mint Swim?

Bambi decides this is a great time to tell Gloria that the last time she saw her, she wanted to smack Gloria in her face. (It was at the all-white/non-white, White Party.) When Laura and Jackie were fighting, Bambi kept butting in and finally Gloria told her to shut up because she didn’t know the history between Laura and Jackie. And Bambi has been holding on to that, waiting for the perfect time to bring it up, in attempts to become relevant.

This is straight up possum fur on my hat.

Gloria is calm and tells Bambi that she can smack her and she actually doesn’t seem like she’s put off by Bambi. But Bambi thinks Gloria is takin’ a fade, and Gloria’s like “no, ain’t no fade, I didn’t say what was going to happen after you slapped me”. (I’m starting to like Gloria… she’s classy, but not…) Then Gloria interviews that Bambi is a big gum-headed block head bitch, and I love her even more.

I wish she’d slap me, this party is boring.

Bambi gets more heated, while Gloria remains seated, but definitely not getting her smack talk in and calling Bambi out on being all Compton. Jackie interviews that this is big, and this bad. I have to pull my white card, because I didn’t understand a lot, but Bambi did interview that this ain’t “webisode land”, (okay, that’s funny too). Malaysia gets involved, again, and tries to explain Bambi’s side… but Bambi clearly came with (the producer’s) agenda.

It's never too soon. It's never too far. And it's never the wrong time.

Bambi… just cause you big doesn’t necessarily mean you bad.

Jacki’s back to Wacki Jacki shit stirring too old for this kind of nonsense “Oh haey gurl!”.

Malaysia tries, bless her heart, but homegum keeps getting in the way.
I do not like Bambi, stupid, trifling, heffah.

I like when the girls have drunken fun. The Govan sisters suck…

If you don’t do drunken shenanigans in Vegas, new Orleans or Miami where exactly are you suppose to do them?

Bambi could have spoken with Gloria another time, but they probably film together so infrequently that was the first time she had a chance to confront her.
