We both look ‘real’ stupid.
As they are talking, Laura walks in with pigtails and 80s wear and I think she looks fine. Bambi doesn’t think she brought any shimmer. Bambi’s shirt SAID “shimmer”… so I guess she brought it.
Whatevs, I think I look ‘real’ cute. With or without shimmer.
Malaysia and Draya are skating and Jackie rolls up. She hugs Draya and Malaysia pees herself in excitement. Malaysia tells Draya that she went with Jackie to pick out fabric for Fashion Week but that Jackie had really wanted Draya to be there and also wanted Draya to be in her show. Now, THAT DIDN’T HAPPEN ON MY TV. So Draya’s fame-seeking eyes see a chance to get into Fashion Week, even if it’s through Jackie… but she doesn’t want to make it easy on Jackie… First, she asks “Jackie, did you really say that”, like did you really want me… and Jackie’s all “yes, yes… I wanted you…” (and I’m all “no. when? totally. didn’t. happen.”) So Draya tells her that it’s “soundin good” but that they have “some sht to work out first”.
This ain’t my ‘real’ hair… or my ‘real’ friend.
Did I mention I’m a ‘real’ model?
Yes Draya, you did, and I’m ‘real’ old.
Everyone hugs, Bambi rolls up… they hug some more. It’s just pathetic. Draya interviews that she was grossed out by the hug and that she blames Malaysia and her unicorn . But what kills me is a future scene with Draya and Laura’s sister. Because Draya calls out Laura’s fake behavior, but Draya is doing the EXACT SAME THING.
They all stand and are talking about Laura being fake, and Laura rolls up in a THIRD spikey backpack. Jackie pulls her aside and tells her that people think Laura is treating Jackie as a doormat. Brooke rolls up and gets involved, and Laura tells Jackie to just talk to her, and to stop bringing other people into their deal. Laura goes on to say that basically she doesn’t give a sht about what anyone thinks and she can barely avoid answering Jackie’s incessant “you are my friend, right?” questioning. While Laura is arguing with Brooke, she accidently says that Jackie is her friend and Jackie is happy and skates off. Brooke tells Laura that she can’t be like that to Jackie and Laura doesn’t agree. She feels like she can do whatever she wants. Brooke says that if she’s that fake with Jackie, then how do the other girls know if she’s being real with them. Laura doesn’t seem to care about that either. I agree. In a group of girls there is never true loyalty amongst everyone. It just doesn’t work that way. You snooze. You lose.
