Basketball Wives LA Season Finale and Reunion, Part 1

It’s the season finale, and I can honestly say it doesn’t come a moment too soon.

The best part is the reunion, and that’s only awesome because John “The Spider” Salley hosts it, and he’s a riot. But first, we start with the season finale. We’re still in New Orleans and we’re still discussing the same old crap.

The ladies all head to a cooking class and are split up Brooke, Laura, and Gloria on Team 1 and Bambi, Malaysia, and Bambi on Team 2. Draya isn’t there. Jackie is in a funk because she says her daughter called her to tell her that Laura had called her and that they met. Jackie blames Chani… but I thought Chani got in touch with Laura.

 Team 2

Jackie tells Malaysia and Bambi, and they all think it was awful of Laura and that she’s a bully. I’m sorry, I don’t get it… I love that my daughter has gone to my friends to talk, when she can’t talk to me. It takes a village… especially if the witchdoctor is your mom. Bambi says it’s wrong on so many levels. Yeah, because Bambi knows what’s right and wrong.

My team number and my IQ are the same.

The chef sends Team 1 to sit and eat with Team 2 and Jackie can’t stop herself from calling out Laura. Laura asks the other ladies to give them some privacy. (But if you look at the picture, someone is still seated at the table.)

 I think we’re alone now…

There doesn’t seem to be anyone around.

Except for the dude with the khaki pants.

Laura tells Jackie that when she met with Chani she did have ill will towards Jackie, but after hearing what Chani said, she changed her mind about hurting Jackie and that she regrets it. I believe Laura… but I still don’t think she likes Jackie. Jackie in all her desperate glory believes it and is happy for the moment. (Read, until she hangs out with Bambi again.)

Malaysia and Bambi go to meet Draya in her hotel room. She’s still hungover from flashing the world last night. They tell her about Jackie and Laura and Draya is appalled. (This from the chick that showed her ass and boobs on TV last night.) She sends them away and tells Malaysia to make sure to keep Jackie fired up.

I’m such a good mom… they’ll  never know I flashed the world my private parts.

Malaysia calls Laura to meet her at some random place. Laura doesn’t appear to wear pants. Malaysia feels it’s her place, even though she says she has no idea what’s going on, to talk about the Jackie/Laura/Chani thing… Laura goes into the same explanation and I completely lose interest.

It's never too soon. It's never too far. And it's never the wrong time.
