   I love Bethenny and feel like we could be besties. I’ve watched RHONY and all her other shows but this WAS. SO. BORING! Your last caption said “being rich and successful is hard” totally hits the nail on the head. In her prior seasons she was still hustling and working really hard and trying to date and then get married and then have a baby. The average woman could relate to it (I did, I got married at the same time as her and Jason) but once she sold her SkinnyGirl stuff for a bazillion dollars and started shopping for football stadium sized pieces of marble she lost me. The drama was too forced, she got too hyper, Jason got too emasculated and Brynn stayed the cutest thing ever.
   Now I am a stalker and a freak but I really did feel that she was genuine and this season just ruined it.

   Love your recap!! I’m actually a fan of Bethenny and have watched her from the 1st season of RHONY but your recap hits it out of the park, esp. the ‘Being rich and successful is hard.’ caption.

   I never did watch this show, for two reasons: One, I think she’s more interesting as a single person (although I’m thrilled she found love and happiness); and two, because she makes me a nervous wreck! She reminds me of a friend of mine who I can only be around about 10 minutes at a time. It’s just. too. exhausting. to watch her!

   @Sweeetbea – Thanks! It’s my first one, so I appreciate that a lot.

   @Yanksfan – I actually kind of Bethenny too! She seems like someone I’d want to sit down and have a few drinks with (SkinnyGirl, of course!). She really seems like she doesn’t take herself too seriously and she’s “in on the joke.” I can totally respect that about her.

   @Bored Silly – I have a friend like that too! I really hope that this is just her TV personality. I’m not sure how anyone could be that dramatic all the time and not just get sick of themselves!

   Yanksfan24 – DITTO, very boring boring show, plus she looks AWFUL cause she is so thin. Great recap, much better than watching the show. No, I have zero plans to watch her talk show but then again I don’t watch ANY talk shows, lol

   why oh why is tvgasm doing this to us? I look forward to Alexandra’s recaps of BEA, and here they ask a ramdom blogger to recap the finale of a show she has never seen. really tvgasm? could you have at least asked somebody who watches the show so they knew what they were talking about instead of the random comments that try to be snarky but fail miserably.
   Alexandra if anything this has made more evident the need of a blogger like you, someone who knows what she is talking about and has a good sense of humor but also a great delivery. I miss you Alexa
   PopePhilly how dare you talk about boring and uninspired show when your blog is no better.

   PopePhilly,

   You did a great job even though you didn’t know the players on the show. You were funny and made me laugh. What more can a girl as for? At the same time, I do agree with Lexy, that it would have been nice to have someone write about the finale who actually has watched the show and grown with the characters. Not your fault.

   I can’t wait to read your blog on a show you watch and love because I feel you’re going to kill it..

   @LifeLuv123 – Thanks! And I agree too. Of course it would have been better had it been the regular recapper. This type of comedy writing needs continuity (I hope I spelled that correctly) to be as good as it can. Glad I made you laugh at least.

   I’ll be covering “Hell’s Kitchen” along with another recapper (since it shows two nights a week) as well as “Glass House” (or, as I like to call it “Big Brother But Not”). I’m excited to follow something from beginning to end.

    After watching the entire Bethany marathon last week, I have become a real Bethany fan!!! I feel for her , she does try and all Jason seems to do is tell her she is “damanged” ..trying to put it all on her..that makes me so angry …I do believe it when Bethany says there is the at home Jayson and the outside Jason..my heart went out to her then…he really is a downer!
    I also want to comment on her apt. It is nice ,but the Gomez’s were right it needed a statement piece or two. I am sorry Bethany didn’t buy those two cabinets..they were a goood price and the living room needs a nice wood piece..for warmth..the apt. is too cold..also there were two of them in case Jayson decides he can’t take living with such a “damanged” woman ( not a Jayson fan!) I will miss Bethany but will watch her show..here is hoping she will let her guests talk and put on a few pounds..she is too thin..looking like a skelton..not a great look ..she was prettier when she was carring Bryn

    I always assume tvgasm tries to find the best fill-in recappers they can and that they don’t go out looking for someone who’s never watched the show. I therefore also assume that complaining about that is pretty useless. I only say something negative if it’s near the start of a season and/or I really disagree with the tone of a recapper. At least popephilly agreed to fill in — and I think you did a good job, considering!

    The finale of the last Rachel Zoe season was interminably boring too, and for pretty much the same reasons. Bravo needs to rewrite it’s finale playbook for it’s Finally Happy Nervous Wreck reality women.

    The finales can just be the cast sitting in a ridiculously expensive house while money falls from the sky. They can spend the hour discussing how hard life is.

    Or, you know, we could do something entertaining. Either one, really.

    I’m so over the Bravo spin offs and RH shows. At first they were mildly amusing and I actually liked Bethanny in the beginning but now these shows are just plain annoying. Bravo keeps the “drama” queens on the shows and then has them create fake situations. At least Bethanny has stayed true to herself – she’s the same frenetic, neurotic person she always was. But I’m bored with boring shows on this channel. I’ve decided to go back to reading. so no, I won’t be watching her talk show. People talk too much as it is and frankly I don’t care what celebrities and reality hacks have to say or what their opinion is. It does not affect “my” reality!
