Also, he has a penis and shouts a lot. Those are both deal-breakers for me.
Anyway, Danielle falls for it and pulls Dan off the block, somehow convinced that she can trust Dan despite the fact that he’s repeatedly been exposed lying to her and everyone else.
But he would never lie to me again. Not after the last time and the time before that…
Shane gives a nice, if inarticulate, speech. He tells Danielle he thinks she’s a sweetheart and they’ve had some fun times. That’s friend-zone level 11 shit, honey. Get a fucking clue!
Have a great summer!
Time for Dan to announce his vote! Dan says that he’s been getting blood on his hands since Day One, and now he’s got blood up to his elbows, but he needs to take his chance to break up something big in the house, and with that he sends Shane packing. The look on Danielle’s face is fucking priceless.
She cries and stares at Dan dumbfounded as Shane walks out the door. Ian just repeats “whatwhatwhatwhatwhatwhat” as he paces around the kitchen. Dan pulls Danielle aside and says he did it for her because she couldn’t beat Shane in the final two. He’s still pretending he’s her coach and trying to help her win, and if she believes him now then she’s genuinely dumber than I thought. DUMBER THAN I THOUGHT! That’s like saying water is wetter than I thought.
Seriously, how do you set the bar this low and then still fail to clear it???
Chen sits Shane down and asks him how he feels about getting blind-sided. Shane says he trusted Dan, and Chen mentions that maybe he shouldn’t trust someone with a track record like Dan. Shane says Dan is a dirty player (duh). Chen asks Shane about his show-mance, and he pretends that there’s a possibility for a romance outside the house.
Well, Julie. I am attracted to women and Danielle is a woman so of course I’m attracted to her because I’m a heterosexual man who is attracted to women.
Sunday should be a good episode, so I guess it just took 69 days for this show to find its groove. We get to do some eavesdropping at the end of the episode, and Dan is still trying to convince Danielle that he did it all for her. She doesn’t seem to be buying it, but this is Dan we’re talking about, so he’ll probably convince her by the time the HoH competition happens.
