Chen asks Britney who she thinks got evicted, and she says she hopes it’s Danielle cause Ian and Dan are the most deserving of making the final two. Danielle does indeed emerge and Shane gives her the most platonic hug ever. It’s Q&A time! Woohoo!
First question: Smashed-ley asks Ian if he made his own decisions or just followed the Quack Pack once he created it. Ian answers that he took his destiny into his own hands. Dan hops in and says that he made Ian’s decisions for him, but Chen shuts him down cause it’s not his damn turn.
Second question: Frank asks Dan if he thinks he crossed the line by swearing on the bible and/or his wedding ring. Dan says he’s not proud of it, but he did what he had to do.
Third question: Jenn asks Ian why she should vote for him when he’s a snitch. Ian says he was just playing the game the way he had to after the reset by controlling his own fate.
Fourth question: Joe asks Dan how he got blood up to his elbows when he only won one HoH. Dan says he back-stabbed almost every member of the jury, but tries to mist them all by saying he HAD to stab them cause they were such tough players.
Fifth question: Brit asks Ian why he should win. Ian says he took his fate into his own hands by choosing a different alliance than what he was handed, and also by playing a cleaner game than Dan. That’s the third time Ian has mentioned controlling his own fate, btw.
Sixth question: Shane asks Satan, or…er… Dan (Shane’s words) why he should win, and he basically says that Ian was Britney’s puppet and he didn’t make his own decisions or play his own game, which is dumb since Ian played a great game after Britney got evicted and couldn’t help him out.
Last question, Danielle gets to ask either finalist anything she wants: She asks Ian if he was aware that Dan would have taken her to the final two. Ian says no, and that he hopes that isn’t true because Dan gave him his grandfather’s gold cross necklace as collateral in case he went back on his final two deal. Danielle makes the awesome Dan-Betrayed-Me face again when he says that, and Dan laughs in a manner that is sort of obnoxious and whatever the opposite of endearing is. I could be wrong, but I think that this Q&A may have just pushed the jury in Ian’s favor.
That’s gonna come in handy for the rest of your working years.
When the show returns there’s one last chance for Ian to be dorky and endearing, and for Dan to attempt a final jury misting. Does the mist work via video feed, or do you have to be within a designated misting range?
