Does anyone see a problem here?
Please put a bag on my head.
Bonnie rushes in to see Alisha and RD to show them what the “graphic designer” came up with for their sign. It’s a bright orange montage of words and tiger things. Maybe Helen Keller became a graphic designer after our cheerleading days. She was always bad about calling and keeping in touch. (Yes, I’m totally cracking myself up with Helen Keller jokes.) Alisha and RD nicely tell her that they would prefer something “cleaner”. And by cleaner, I’m assuming she meant less awful. RD gives her an “A for effort” and Alisha says it’s “E for effort” because effort starts with an E. He tries to explain that it’s just a saying, but it’s lost on her in her Adderall induced daze.
“…::…:::.:….” (That’s what Helen Keller said.)
I give up Bonnie. You are a blur.
Today is blurry to me too.
At Alisha’s house, she and her monkey call the Mississippi coach to test the waters. He tells her that they are excited to see CTR this weekend.
I totes want a talking monkey.
Two days to competition, and it’s the last practice before the weekend and they still aren’t cutting it. Cameron, the flyer, decides to take her boot off and risk another injury for the sake of Youth Silver. They manage to keep her in the air and then they run through the routine. Apparently they need to watch their lines and Alisha doesn’t want to even coach them anymore. She pulls over a new coach, Gabe, to take a look at them and he points out 18 fatal mistakes in their routine. I think he went easy on them. Torrann stares off at the ceiling, while Olivia looks like she might become a cutter. Alisha’s kids are sweaty. Andrea interviews that it was great. She tells her daughter that since she’s the oldest she needs to give Youth Silver a pep talk because she’s the oldest. Kylie says they don’t listen to her. (But then again, I wasn’t listening either and had to rewind.) Andrea tells her to be more aggressive.
Torrann isn’t around to drop her.
We’re down to 24 hours to show time and Michelle interviews that RD announced during Youth Silver practice that everyone needed to show up to help clean the place and set up for the invitational. Andrea and Michelle are ready to work, but Ann is nowhere in sight. Andrea calls Ann to find out where the Team Mom is and Ann is on her way. All the kids are helping and Michelle and Andrea are scrubbing toilets and sweeping floors. Apparently this place is a pigsty, because why would it be so gross?
