   Great recap! Very funny! Good screenshots.

   I actually like the big faces when you perform. The reason being you need everyone in the audience including the back row of the theater, gym etc to see you. So you have to be big. A small smile will not cut it. I always had the best giant cheesy smiles and faces when I did dancing and cheering. It worked. I thought that group really needed more expression. I saw a lot of dead pan faces during the performance. Cheerleaders are supposed to be over the top excited thrilled happy yay!

   OK my daughter is friends with Torrann. She may be a little spoiled but she is not a sociopath and nothing is WAY Off with her. You all need help. She is just a kid.

   I think these people that are bashing Ann are all friends of Michelle and Bonnie. They are trying to get the Ann and Torrann bashing train going. They are all jealous. Bonnie is jealous because Alana is not a big person it the show, same with Shannon. My guess if this show gets picked up for another year neither one of those ladies will be on the show. Then Michelle is nothing but a fake…..trying to put on a good face for the show…deep down she is really strange. In the past two years look she has done some really wierd things. Yes she went through a hard time a while back but who didn’t with the situation. Now the cheer team is good, not the best, but they are a young team with a wide variety in age. They do the big faces, well that comes from the pageant world. Can everyone just not watch the show and laugh and realize this isn’t “REALITY” it is what TLC wanted and prompted all the people to say and do.

   I am prepping my girls for state competition as I type! I would have to Btch slap Ann until my hand hurt…and then switch hands! Andrea I think is gonna bail on “team Ann” and beg the other mom’s forgiveness. As a coach, Alisha needs to reign in her psyco team mom, and warn them how parents need to be rolemodels/good sports too. I think Mandy is the most normal so far.

That child has serious problems that mommy and daddy are totally blind to! And as far as people bashing Ann out of jealousy….you are looney lady! Noone in their right mind would “jealous” of a FAT, LAZY LARD ASS! And to point out flaws in Michelle for her problems with Ann! Apparently you know nothing about what the REAL reasons Michelle hates Ann! Michelle has a VERY KIND spirit….UNLESS you do the things to her that Ann has done!     Yes Ann can be a bit overbearing but at least you know where you stand with her. Michelle not so much, you just have to worry about her finding you at WalMart apparently and beating your ass. REALLY? I think the CTR Parent is Bonnie or one of her croonies….all I have to say is Michelle watch your back before Bonnie stabs you. She talks to too many people trust me I hear her. Also blows me away that TLC didn’t show Michelle threaten her daughter Ashton with a belt in front of the TV, other parents and other kids. Of course I have hear she has a paddle in the vehicle to turn around and bust her kids if they aren’t doing right. If you know so much about why Michelle hates Ann enlighten us. Would be intersting to hear…lets see if you can say it though without cursing or making racist remarks.

    Lisa: I bash Ann and I don’t even live in Arkansas or know any of these people. I have been posting on this site for almost a year now on various tv shows. So no, I am not one of their chums since I was on here before the show was even filmed.

    I also would like to say since I am a size 8 or 10, I am in no way jealous of Ann. I can see my feet and I look hot.

    I also wondered what the “hard time” Michelle had a few years ago that is what came between Ann and her. Divorce? Death in the family? Loss of a baby? Problems with her daughter? Job loss? What???? Knowing might explain more about the situation.

    I think what people are losing sight of is that Ann is a drama magnet. Therefore she has placed her daughter in that same spotlight. There are NO perfect children, but it’s obvious which children are better behaved. Ann should not be offended at public comments made about her child. The public did not she to put her child in the public’s eye, SHE did!!!! What did she expect? SHE even said on air that SHE didn’t like her child! AND, as for Ann, she has a self inflated ego. She’s insensitive and says and does things that are unhealthy for children. The comment she made about paying her own child or Andrea’s to knock over a woman on crutches, was UNBELIEVABLE!!! Honestly, I can’t believe that R.D. and Alisha tolerate her behavior around the gym. She and often times, now Andrea, (because she’s becoming an Ann wannabe), give CTR a bad name. There’s NO way I’d let my child be involved with the gym. I don’t care how many titles they win or how many TV shows they’re on! I’ve coached and owned a gym, Ann is toxic to that program and her child is NOT so talented that she couldn’t be replaced!!!! I think the personalities of Brooke, Alana and Ashtyn are 100 times more valuable than any skill Miss T. Robinson has. As for Ann’s weight, I don’t care what she weighs, SHE\S the ONE always making personal attacks on people’s appearance! Talking about Bonnie’s 80′s make-up, etc, etc…. That’s so immature. C’mon Ann. Grow up. I don’t know where Ann got the idea that her status at the gym is all that…I don’t know about the gym, but here in TV land, Unladylike Ann, you and your daughter have earned yourself no friends that I know of!!!!

    April yeah Ann looks tall to and yes she is a bigger but so is Michelle and Bonnie isn’t real thin either. In fact my friend at the gym said Michelle had gastric bypass or the band or something almost 2 years ago….which she has lost some not that much. A

    I look forward to reading this recap, all I can say is hilarious. I know there are people that either love or hate us and to each its own. I want to start off by saying, if you want to know the real situation behind my issues with Ann, Keep watching, it eventually comes out and if for some reason it’s edited to not be shared, then so be it. I’m not going to discuss it at this time here or anywhere else As far as my parenting style that was discussed in the mini recap, My husband and I are firm believers in \Spare the rod, spoil the child\ and through that method we feel we have raised God fearing, well mannered children. Yes my kids know there are consequences to their actions. I don’t care who agrees with me, the only ones that matter are God, myself, my husband and my kids. I don’t ever hide the fact that I discipline. My kids know I love them and support them no matter what. To whoever thinks that they know me and think I’m being fake, please use your real name, or better yet, reach out to me, since you frequent the gym so often. I will be more than happy to let you speak your mind to me face to face. As far as I’m concerned, until you use a REAL name, your as FAKE as they come. I appreciate Madelyn for bringing us to the light on this blog and appreciate our CTR family, especially the kids, because without their love for this sport this would not be happening. We knew what we were getting into when we all agreed to do put our families on TV and be judged by America, good and bad we will take it all BTW, Mandy is my favorite Mom on the show.

    i hate when people come on these sites and tell us to get a life… um, hello… if we had a life, we wouldn’t be watching the show, writing about the show, and then reading what other people thought about said show… and then people like ann and andrea would be raising bratty kids and no one would understand why they grow up to be obnoxious adults. and i do have a life… it just happens to allow me to watch copious amounts of tv… and writing is my favorite thing to do. kinda like ann’s is eating… and sure, michelle isn’t petit, but who cares… i don’t judge ann’s fat on her fat alone… i judge the whole package. and it’s a really shtty, huge package. i agree that andrea should and will cut and run at some point. she doesn’t have the evil gene i see in ann and torrann. more like she thought she was hanging out with the popular crowd, only to find out that she’s sitting at the loser table.

    i love hearing everyone’s opinion… i will readily admit i could be totally wrong and that TLC has forced these parents and kids to act a certain way for the show. but guess what? totally don’t care. bc i’m an adult, and we ALL know who the “anns” of this world are… and yes, we might judge kids… “they’re just kids”… oh boo fking hoo… i don’t call normal kids sociopaths. i call sociopathic kids sociopaths. torrann is off. something’s not connecting. in the episode that aired back in july, i remember a scene/screen capture where ann was trying to tell torrann to get her act together so she’d make the squad and torrann was all evil and replies “okay, give me money now”…. i agree with michelle, give her the belt NOW and then you won’t have to bail her out of jail later.

    as for the big o-faces… i’m fine with the exaggerated expressions… just that one like mini-stripper chick crossed the line from peppy to pole-dancer for me. but the squad as a whole didn’t seem peppy enough, so good for her for trying.

    but, as always, thank you for reading, commenting, and defending. for me, it’s 5pm, i’m in vegas and i’m in bed watching Ghost Stories. and you say i have no life. pshaw.

And the top award will be Ultimate Grand Sociopath. Maybe you can be a judge. We’ll work this out. let’s all plan to meet at American Pie Pizza Buffet.

    If it smells like a fish and looks like a fish it must be a Fish …Anne.I have to agree with Madalyn that the camera can only film what people give them to film, Anne and Torann are exactly what they are, uneducated, lazy, self centered , sociopathic \maybe a little bi-polar\ and they are attention mongers. Michelle and Bonnie’s friends have more class than to come on here and bash Anne or her child. As far as Bonnie and Shannon’s status in the gym or their daughters status in the gym from what I have been told they are doing just fine. Sounds like to me that Anne and Andrea maybe just a little bit jealous of Shannon and Bonnie and their daughters.

    @ friend of CTRParent, my surgery was in Dec 2008, not 2 years ago. To date I have lost over 150 pounds. that is after gaining about 25 due to medication and not exercising like I did the first couple of years, but hey I will still take the drastic loss with my head held high Happier, Healther and couldn’t be more thrilled. Knock me all you want, my weight has nothing to do with my integrity. Being overweight has nothing to do with having a caring personality and if you or your friend really knew me, you would know I am one of the most welcoming people in our gym. I am not bothered by your statements, but please speak the truth or don’t speak at all. If your friend is really at CTR parent, they have my number, please ask them to share it with you, my kids have swim meets and cheer comps this weekend, so I’m off the computer until Monday, no need to go back and forth over the internet. Let me show you the wimp in me and let’s meet up

    The funny part is I have judged pageants before….just tiny local Sunburst natural ones, but I did judge a few of those several years back.

Is this Cheer Perfection’s first season ever, or was there a season before this one? If so, where can I find it? Thank you!

    Melanie-there was a “teaser” episode over the summer. I think we are about 3 episodes into the season. I am not sure where you can find them online. I have this in my DVR lineup. You might be able to find it on demand, if your cable service provides that…Sorry I can’t be more help…

    Bwahahahaha. North Little Rock Municipal airport is within minutes of Sherwood, and Sherwood ‘boasts’ of having McIntosh Airport, but I’ve never seen either one or known of anyone to fly in/out of them. Most people drive all the way into Little Rock (a whole 20 minutes at worst) to fly out of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National.

    I dont feel like torrann is “way off”, I think she’s just a bratty spoiled kid, but she’s a product of her environment, I mean if parents always give the kid what they want, the kid is going to be bratty. I don’t know ann and torrann personally or their home life, so I can’t say for sure thats the case, thats just how tlc is portraying it to be. TLC does have a tendency to only film a childs bad moments, making the kid look worse then they are, because all moms know kids get cocky and act up sometimes no matter what, imagine if a camera was around every time your kid was rude or did something wrong. TLC did this with mady gosselin from jon and kate plus 8 , for a few seasons there , they showed every single melt down that little girl had, they only showed her when she was acting up, not when she was behaving. Lets face it TLC isnt stupid it makes for better entertainment, whos gunna turn on their tv and watch a well behaved child and parent. Truth is as rotten as it is, and im not saying its right for torrann to be cocky to her mother or act like a brat, TLC is showing us all the footage of her acting up because they know it makes for good tv. They sure dont show us torrann being nice to her mother or giving her a hug, and come on it theres no way the kids a rotten brat 24/7 .

    Also i think that bonnie and ann have tension because in pageants, bonnie is in charge shes a pageant director and well at the gym ann is in charge.. shes team mom. just a thought lol

    I believe the airport codes mentioned were the ones for Chicago. I’m pretty sure one they said was ORD which is O’Hare’s code. I don’t recall the other code mentioned but the other Chicago airport s called Midway.

    Despite laughing hysterically over these recaps…and sharing them with my former cheer daughter…the sad thing is that this scenario is happening all over the USA in cheer and dance. Thousands of dollars spent for meaningless competitions, injured little kids, friendships ruined – why are we so focused on competing? There must be 200 cheer companies that all have a \national\ title and a \state\ champ and they are all making money on the backs of families that should be saving for college. I actually forbid my younger daughter to do cheer (after 7 years of insanity with the older one). Luckily the cheer coach forbid parents to watch or interrupt practice.
    What is the answer? Who knows? But what happened to common sense?

    Whatever – Yeah they were Chicago codes MDW = Midway (which is way southeast) and ORD = OHare (very far northwest). I think Triton is somewhere in between – but I think closer to OHare. I don’t envy them the Chicago traffic though, on weekends it’s usually bumper to bumper traffic by 10am, if they arrived on Friday evening I’m suprised that they got to the hotel on the same day.

    I’ll apologize in advance to @Deanna for copying her episode 1 comment:

    which went into my Home Truths file. And also came out of my mouth like 9 times just watching that pre-premiere thing back in July. Which is even more times than it gets yelled at the tv during the Jenelle segments of Teen Mom 2.

    BTW Does Morgan Freeman know about this show? And where the fuck is this Sherwood place and what’s their child abuse hotline number?

    TLC needs to at least put up a PSA like MTV does about birth control and not doing stuff you see on Jackass. To explain to people that need that warning about how hot apple pie filling’s liable to be hot that doing back bends is not the treatment for a fractured spine.

    I may not be a doctor. But I can tell when 1 needs to get his license torn up. And put on house arrest indefinitely as a public nuisance and safety hazard. And set to do some community service they can do online. That gets checked over real good. And won’t interfere with their daily psychiatrist therapy.

    If that little girl’s been on the screen even 1 time since her own mama conspired to break her back worse than it was to get some $ I missed it.

    I’ll shut up before I get carried away and say something so ugly I can’t even blame it on it being an extra pain pill day.

    Anyway that’s how come I didn’t set my DVR for this show. Or even know when it got cranked back up. I’d decided that hard I didn’t even want its electricity molecule’s cooties busting out of my screen and going in my nose with the air.

    But then I saw @Madelyne27 was doing the recaps. And turned weaker than Eva in paradise when the little hand on the big clock got to Fruit Snacks With Snakes.

    And right on cue up popped my internet friends holding out all 4 episodes in a big old apple shaped lump.

    I just got started catching up on the recaps. I’m sure I’ll have some comments to make. But for now I just wanted to tell anybody that doesn’t know that @Madelyne27 ‘s got Powers.

    Not only did she have me ROFLing at Cheer Crime Infection. She even gave me some reminder words of comfort:

    It’s entertainment. And a small glimpse into someone else’s world. I think we all know it’s not full reality, but that’s why we love it: if we want real life, we can just go outside.

    Well I was never keen on that last part about the “o word” even back when I could just up and do it.

    But while I’m being entertained you can bet I’m praying to all the Baby Usual Suspects Among The Butterballs that this show has even less reality than The Bachelor.

    And that there’s not really a town where that many little girls as old as 10 or 11 can’t put eyeliner on. Much less getting taught that it’s OK to put the same color of safety orange eye shadow on a dozen different people.

    Spirit Extreme is a small podunk competition that most respectable gyms won’t attend. The reason CTR won Grand Champs is because they were either the only team in their division or the other gym was worse. Here are the results: http://www.xtremespirit.com/results093012.html
    I actually laughed at Alisha’s comment about the dance. Awhile back their routine was put up on Youtube (before the show started), Fierceboard (THE cheer gossip and info site) was on fire about how bad their choreography…she took a lot of flack so I was glad to see she fixed it.
    Youth Silver’s routine is actually quite comparable to a typical youth 2 team, they just need to work on the popcorn jumps and not becoming a mess everytime they transition.

    Liz…if you go and look at those results, you will see that in their division Youth L2, there was another team competing against CTR BUT if you look at all L2 ‘s combined, there was a total of 5 teams competing for the top Level 2 prize…Grand Champions! Just to add…when CTR was filming these episodes (in the summer), there were not a whole lot of cheer competitions to choose from!

    Actually I think it has more to do with WHO will let them film then having an adequate amount of comps to choose from. Anything owned by Varsity is not going to allow them to film, so that takes away about 85% of the competitions out there. JamBrands and most IEP’s are commited to CheerLive for all filming, so there goes another 10%. Xtreme Spirit is probably their only option. Even here in Texas Xtreme can only pull in 1, maybe 3 teams per division.
    It’s great they won Grand Champs but it is far harder to win in a field of 60 teams (typical pull of Mini 2-Senior 2 teams) then 5 teams. Or better yet win one National Champion jacket from NCA or CheerSport.
    I will say I LOVE their level 6 team…in a sea of trainwrecks they actually have it together!

    Well….I’ve been watching for awhile now….and I have to say that I like Ann!! Go Ann. I see these types of huddles in the office environment all the time. It always seems to be a bit of nasty jealousy on the side of the ones that are ganging up on one individual. I agree with one of the earlier posts, atleast you know where you stand with Ann!! LOL. Maybe people are just jealous because of her being able to stay home? Or possibly finances? Don’t know, just supposing. And yeah, what is this horn between Ann and Michelle? Enquiring minds would like to know. It must be bad whatever it is. BUT, there’s two sides to every story, right? Hmmmm.

    I watch and I find that not only some of the moms try and make it look like Ann is the problem but TLC shows only bad things about her too. Some are friends with her one second and talking behind her back the next…with friends like that I can understand why she doesn’t care if any of them like her. I like Ann because she’s real, she talks the same to your face as she does behind your back…. most there are backstabbing. And when something is happening all the moms sit and watch so they can use it against Ann, I see Michelle watching Ann instead of minding her own business then going and blabbing it all over. Bonnie is the worst IMO she is just plain jealous and needs to get a life…… Like Ann wouldn’t react to being the only one not invited out when they were away from home, out of town, and everyone they know is invited somewhere but you…..any one of those parents (or most parents anywhere) would be upset…. they did it to get the reaction they did…. shame on all of them for feeding into the childish games…..have the birthday party at home where Ann would probably care less what any of them are doing.

    All this is just my opinion and no I don’t want to meet up with anyone that takes offence at what I’m saying because it’s not the way they feel….. its a tv show…. and life it too short!
