It’s a good start…
Still looking good.
The two outer stunts are starting to waffle.
RD does the worm. Mark does a face plant.
Shannon enjoys the show.
Youth Gray down!
Afterwards, RDee thanks everyone and he asks them to wait while he goes to the back office to get something for Alisha. He brings her a dozen roses. He thanks her for all her hard work and how much she does to keep the gym together. I’ll admit I totally choked up while he was talking. It may be a chemical imbalance this week, or maybe I was tired, or maybe I was jealous… but hearing him talk about his wife like that and surprising her was just so sweet. And I didn’t just choke up the first time I watched the episode, I choked up ALL THREE TIMES… I think I’m defrosting emotionally. I’ll have to watch Teen Mom so I can get back to normal.
I suck. I cried. And I even hate roses. But I loved his speech. Yeah RDee.
Youth Silver is ready for their dress rehearsal for the other coaches. Alisha wants them judged harshly so that they are all ready. One girl must have forgotten her uniform. DEDUCTION FOR HER MOM! They go through the routine and do pretty well. There’s room for improvement, but overall they continue to get better. The coaches/judges come around after they are done to talk about what they saw and with recommendations. Clean up the stunts. Clean up back handsprings. Spacing issues. Falling redhead. Hit body positions.
Definitely looking better each week.
Still in sync.
Ann hurt her wrist while pulling Andrea’s knife out of her back.
RDee points out that Alex sucked at facials in the routine and someone else points out that Abby was trying to pull too hard in a stunt and it wobbled. Little Cambree says “Now we’re not gonna win… because of Abby”… and she’s young, and I do think she was kind of kidding, but Abby just broke down. Alisha jumped in and made it right and Cambree kept hugging Abby, so I can’t say it was bad behavior or parenting. I think it was a 6 year old probably saying what she heard someone else say, not realizing that it was so hurtful. But in the end, they agreed, “there is no I in Team”.
