Dallas Recap: Shit Is Getting Real

During a break, Christopher introduces himself to Emma.  Because he radiates goodness and purity, he tells Emma that even if it’s difficult, she should tell the truth.  When she is called to the stand, Emma ends up defending Harris and says she is grateful to him for rescuing her from Ann.  Christopher is not happy.  Afterwards, he tells Pam that he will agree to mediation because they need to be civil for their children.  Pam has a pain and Christopher looks alarmed.  Christopher asks if everything is going ok with the pregnancy and Pam lets him feel the babies kick.  I’m sure this new-found civility will last maybe one episode, so I’m not getting my hopes up.

Ann, Bobby, Christopher, Sue Ellen and Lou are getting a bite to eat while the jury is out.  By getting a bite to eat, I mean sitting in awkward silence.  Lou tells them that the longer the jury is out the better.  On cue, his phone rings to let him know the jury is back.  Way to go Lou.  When court reconvenes, the jury finds Ann guilty.  She is taken into custody while Harris smiles.  As she is being taken out, she crosses paths with our favorite Venezuelan drug lord.

Well, even though they shoved enough hints in our face, next week’s previews show that the Venezuelan drug lord takes the family hostage next week at South Fork.  It should be exciting so I will see everyone then!
