Speaking of Pam, she shows up at Becky’s and gives her a shit ton of money to get out of town. Becky just wants to find Tommy, but Pam tells her to take the money and go far away. Two things: One – Tommy really wasn’t that great to risk your life to find. Two – How much more obvious can it be that Becky needs to get the hell away from these people. The money is just a bonus. She’s real close to just deserving to be killed.
John Ross shows up at Ewing Energies, where Bobby, Elena and Christopher are having a good time in the conference room. How do we know they are having a good time – they are practically holding hands and skipping in a circle so that the producers really get across how left out John Ross feels. We get it. Elena tells John Ross that the reason they are all so happy is that she got enough money for Christopher and John Ross to both get what they want. Because Elena is doing such a great job, Bobby tells John Ross that he and Christopher are both giving Elena some of their shares so she has a bigger piece of Ewing Energies. Never one to be outdone, John Ross also agrees to give Elena some of his shares so they will all be equal partners. Elena hugs John Ross, but Christopher is not happy. After everyone leaves, Christopher asks his secretary to become best buds with John Ross’ secretary so he can keep an eye on him.
Later that night, JR and John Ross are at Ewing Energies. They are talking about how Elena borrowed money from Sue Ellen. John Ross realized that if Elena can’t repay the loan, Sue Ellen can seize her shares of Ewing Energies. It’s sweet how they are wanting to include Sue Ellen in their scheming now that she is out of politics.
Meanwhile, Christopher gets a package delivered to him. There is a very detailed cover story about how it was a time delayed delivery from a month ago. Evidently Doc Brown wants Christopher to travel back in time to the old west to help save him. The package has a cell phone and a note from Tommy. Basically, Tommy tells Christopher that if anything should happen to him, Christopher should take the phone to the police. Christopher listens to the voice mail on the phone and there is a message from Pam threatening Tommy, along with a message from Becky admitting that Pam was deceiving Christopher. It’s nice how they wrapped all of that up so neatly. The only thing cleaner would be a signed confession from Pam.
At South Fork, Bobby is on the phone, talking to the guy from the stables. He is getting more information about the horse from London. It turns out that Emma Brown has been riding that horse from 8 years. And the horse is owned by Harris Ryland. Ann comes in and asks if there is any news and Bobby tells her no. Because honesty would so be the wrong way to go.
