Rebecca goes to a warehouse.  Inside is a white van that has the body.  She starts searching it.  Finds card to a pawn shop.

John Ross takes Elena to an office space under construction.  John Ross rented it for Ewing energies.  Was the former location of Ewing oil.  Elena tells him that it is perfect.  He then drops to one knee and proposes to Elena, who says yes.

Rebecca goes to pawnshop, but finds out that the rings were sold the day before. The guy tells her to leave her number and he will try to find the person who bought them.

Christopher  shows up at new office.  He is glad John Ross did this.  Christopher sees the engagement ring and tells them he hopes they are happy together.

Rebecca is sitting in dark having flashbacks of shooting Tommy.  Christopher comes in and startles her.  He is trying to make things work and has brought chinese food.

JR visits Bobby with a bottle of wine.  Lou is leaving and ignores JR.  Oh my goodness -Lou is a lawyer!  It’s nice that we found out what the hell he does in the season finale.  Bobby found out that Not Marta had a video of JR conspiring against Bobby.  Bobby is going to stop him for good.

Bobby is leaving the hospital when Sue Ellen stops by.  She tells Ann that she is withdrawing from the Governor Race.

John Ross and Christopher are playing basketball when JR shows up with Lou.  JR tells John Ross that Bobby wants them both to pay the piper.

Lou is explaining everything John Ross did.  Christopher  tells John Ross that he can’t lie his way out of this.  Elena overhears everything, even when John Ross says that he wants everything sealed so Elena doesn’t find out.  She walks out on him.  He chases her and she says he lied to her face.  He begs her to not give up on him.  He will be waiting at the new office for her that night.

Ann shows up to see Harris.  He again brings up the hug.  How does this guy not have to register as a sex offender?  He screams ‘creepy rapist’.  She tells he won.  She asks what he wants from her.  He propositions her and starts to pull at her blouse.  She is in tears and starts to take off her shirt.  She surprises him when she shows him the microphone.  She has recorded him admitting to everything.  She again slips into a southern accent.

Frank is meeting with VDL.  Man, you would never think that the crime world is so small. VDL is signing his rights over to Frank.  They are disrupted by the FBI showing up.

Ann is at the park again.  Sue Ellen shows up and tells Ann that she is holding a press conference.  Ann tells Sue Ellen she doesn’t have to withdraw.  She explains what happened with Harris and that there will be no more blackmail.

VDL is arrested.  Bobby, JR and Christopher are waiting in a room to talk to him.  They let him know any deal is invalid because they have signed confessions from John Ross and JR, who both got immunity.  JR tells him that he never should have touched a hair on his son’s head.

Was disappointed that Dallas recap didn’t appear last week. Decided that TVGasm didn’t care about Dallas.

Saw recap listed on today’s page. Got excited. Read another excuse from another recapper that they were sorry recap was so late. Seems to be a trend.

Read recap. Felt like I was reading Cliff Notes. I had seen the episodes, was a total waste of time.

Recapper promised to be back next January. Heavy sigh. Maybe the Mayans will be right and January will never come.

@Guy-i really don’t know what else I can say. I realize the recap wasnt great. I wasn’t even able to watch both episodes until Saturday. I just wanted to get the recap posted, so I didnt go into a lot of commentary. If you want to make a decision on not reading next season because of one recap, that is your choice.

Sorry, I guess I was hoping for more sarcasm and poking fun. I love Dallas, and was hoping for more of a comedy routine than a dry recap. Not that I could do any better, but I guess I always hope for a home run every time at bat. Didn’t mean to make anyone feel bad. :(

So glad to see the recaps! I was a little disappointed in the finale. I thought the show the week before was more exciting, but that’s probably just me. I can’t wait for January either! It promises to be a good next season. Thanks for hanging in there and recapping, I think you did a great job! (No sarcasm there! :-) )

Maybe I’m just dim, but I NEVER saw the ending coming. I didn’t think that Cliff Barnes was so repugnant as to make his daughter marry and get impregnated by her cousin. Although, Ray and Lucy did something similar and he turned out to be her uncle, so I guess it isn’t outside the realm of possibility. Plus, I have a very foggy recollection of Cliff’s attitude that Christopher wasn’t real because he wasn’t a biological Barnes (I know JR was always big on the “He’s not a TRUE Ewing” and I think Cliff was the same, but with Barnes of course). I could be making that up, but I’m thinking it is true because I’m not as creeped out as I should be and worried about inbred twin babies with a total of 4 eyes – 1 on one, 3 on the other.

That didn’t stop me from shrieking “OH MY GOD – AWESOME!” and then being happy that it is coming back in January and not waiting until next summer.

Okay, I never watched the original Dallas but maybe it was answered earlier in this season, but who is Cliff? It was also a little scary how quickly Rebecca switched to bad-ass-call-the-dead-body-cleanerupers but a little nice to see her finally growing a spine. Did her ‘brother’ know that the person he was dealing with was actually a minion for Cliff? Or was he just a pawn as well?

Ohhhhh… I loved the finale. I knew something was up with Rebecca but I kinda thought maybe she was Ann’s daughter??? Can’t wait for January!! Please don’t let the Mayan thing be true…

@Carol, Cliff is Bobby’s first wife Pamela’s brother. There was a bitter feud between the Ewing and the Barnes’ families, especially between JR and Cliff. I believe Cliff and Sue Ellen also had an affair, but I won’t swear to that.

@Chickenlips, I don’t think Christopher is biologically related to Not Rebecca, so they shouldn’t have any mutant babies. Not to mention no creepy incest vibe.

    Thanks for the recap, Pollyana.

The best part was that the “cliff hanger” was literally, Cliff in an (airplane) hanger.

@Tonya – you are just writing the next episode for them – how awesome would it be if Ann was Rebecca’s mother and that Ann married Bobby to infiltrate the Ewings in the name of Barnes? She was awfully sympathetic to Rebecca when it found out “brother” Tommy was a con man.

But now you’ve got me thinking…perhaps Ann is Christopher’s birth mother and she found him and married his adoptive father to be close to him? That would be an epic twist right there!

@chicken lips ! Totally could be ! Something is up and Ann has some dark secret with a kid??? My only issue is Elana and her mouth it’s like she doesn’t open it up? It’s all teeth ! I was pleasantly surprised with the season and so excited for January! Team JR!

Hold up. I thought it was implied in the original series that Christopher belonged to Sue Ellen’s sister, Kristen? And that MAYBE Chris was JR’s? Don’t hold me to that. But I don’t know what it is about Ann, but I don’t think either Rebecca or Christopher belong to her. Perhaps TOMMY was her kid?

Yep, Christopher is Kristen’s son, but he isn’t JR’s. Kristen miscarried that pregnancy. Christopher’s father is Kristen’s drug dealing bf. He essentially sold him to Bobby for something like $25K. For all things Dallas: http://www.ultimatedallas.com

I was hooked on this show back in the day (until the Oh No This Last Year Was Just a Dream season) but I’ve forgotten a lot of the details.

ITA, I think Ann might have a secret adult child out there somewhere.

@wcsdancer – thanks for the link, now just waiting for the family tree, I don’t think I will understand it all till it is visually laid out. Still enjoying this second generation, I just sort of zone out when they talk about older family members.

Let’s see if I got this. Cliff was Bobby’s brother-in-law from Bobby’s first wife. They both come from oil/land dynasties and the families have never liked each other.

@wcsdancer–Thanks. I was waaay too young for the original, so I got my fill in reruns and I guess my mom’s show recall is sketchy.

    Carol,

Bobby married Cliff’s sister Pam. Christopher’s parents are Sue Ellen’s sister (who shot Jr) & a random conman. Christopher was sold to Bobby & Pam. It came out later that Pam’s daddy wasn’t Cliff’s daddy (in fine soap tradition).

Cliff’s daddy Digger & JR/Bobby’s daddy Jock started out as partners in wild catting for oil. Deals went bad…Digger was in love with Miss Ellie, but Jock married her. Digger turned into a drunk bum & Cliff has always blamed the Ewings for what became of Digger. Cliff’s entire life on Dallas was to make the Ewings pay for destroying (in his mind) Digger. Everyone across the board had a collective shit fit when Bobby married Pam (episode 1).

I didn’t know about the “Christopher is Kristen’s” thing. I was very young when I watched with my mom and even though I watched the reruns in college, I don’t remember ever seeing that. Live and learn. :)
