Then Chloe and Kendall dance and it’s a little off. Kendall’s a little out of time.
In the booth, Christi asks Shrill if Jabby called her in for the “audition.” Shrill says no, she just happened to be there for class and Jabby came in and asked for her. Shrill asks if the moms think she went up to Jabby and asked for Kendall to be put in the duet. The moms are all, “yes.” Shrill wants to know why the moms just can’t be happy for Kendall. Because you’re a psycho who forced her into their lives?
They go back and forth with awhile, with Shrill calling the moms selfish and the moms pointing out that Kendall’s not part of the team and doesn’t deserve to be in the duet. Christi and Kelly try to get Holly riled up so she’ll go down and confront Jabby for not picking Nia. This whole time Melissa is just sitting there thinking “thank god they’re not talking about me for once.”
Kelly and Christi have gotten sufficiently agitated to the point that they tell Holly if she doesn’t go down and talk to Jabby they will push her down the stairs themselves. Of course they want in on it too, so they all troop downstairs to interrupt the rehearsal.
Holly says to Jabby that Nia’s been there all along and Kendall just got back. Jabby says that Nia may not be right for the part. Holly says it seems like Nia is never right for the part unless she’s lifting Mackenzie. Ooh, burn.
Jabby says all she cares about is winning and she has specific music in mind. Holly yells at her to find new music that would be suitable for Nia and says that Nia can do lots of things. Jabby screams at the top of her lungs that of course Nia can do lots of things, this just happens to be a duet with Chloe and other stuff is not part of the strategy this week.
Since Jabby actually seems to have made a point, Holly backs off and says Jabby doesn’t need to get belligerent. Okay, A) Jabby only has two states of mind: belligerent or not belligerent and B) One way to make her belligerent? Interrupt a rehearsal and confront her about one of her decisions. What did Holly really think was going to happen? Anyway, the conversation devolves into insults about Jabby’s weight and looks which undermines any sort of legitimate point Holly might have had, had she had one.
Jabby interviews that this week is a mess because of Paige’s broken foot, “Brooding Brooke’s” balky back and Maddie having to fly off to do DDD. Jabby says she’s putting Kendall in the group number, but that doesn’t mean she is part of the team. She’s just doing it to get Shrill off her back. Ooh, bad move. It’s like when you give a stalker a little attention, they think their tactics have worked and so they double their efforts next time. (Or at least that’s what I’ve learned from the Investigation Discovery Channel.)
