Kelly interviews that she’s “surprised” that Maddie was on top of the pyramid because she wasn’t even supposed to HAVE a solo last week. She interviews that Maddie shouldn’t even have been a pyramid consideration and that this illustrates the unfair treatment that she has been harping about infinitely.
Jabby dismisses the moms, but tells Kelly she needs to speak to her up front. We get another flashback to Chairgate. Jabby tells Kelly they can’t have that kind of loss of self control in the studio. Kelly says that Jabby is the one who threw the chair and scared her 10-year-old so it goes both ways. Jabby says it doesn’t go both ways, because Kelly signed a contract that says bad language and unsportsmanlike conduct are grounds for dismissal.
Section 12, paragraph 3: “Moms must complain endlessly about stupid shit.”
Kelly’s like, “if I had known that, I would have flipped you off months ago.” Okay, she didn’t, but that would have been cool.
Upstairs in the Bitch Booth, the moms ask Kelly how her convo with Jabby went. She tells them that Jabby pulled out The Contract. Christi says, “You mean the contract that says ‘we will provide a nurturing and safe, positive learning experience…?’” Kelly says she will stay at ALDC just to torture Jabby. That sounds like a reasonable plan.
Holly chimes in to ask why, if Chloe missed rehearsal LAST week, she is in trouble THIS week? Kelly says that “somebody” told on Chloe and then asks who would rat out a 10-year-old. I don’t know, Kelly. Aren’t you the one who called Melissa and told her in the first place? Melissa, as usual, is sitting there pretending she has no idea what’s going on around her.
“Siri, call my attorney.”
She interviews that she “normally” doesn’t tell Jabby about things, but she was sick of the other moms saying she doesn’t follow the rules. So tattling will make them follow the rules? Christi asks who told Jabby, and Melissa actually admits it.
Christi interviews that if she had a problem with Moviegate, Melissa should have come to her and not tattled to Jabby. Just be glad she didn’t threaten to sue you this time. Christi asks Melissa how it’s any of her business if Chloe couldn’t dance that day. Melissa starts to explain that she was just mad, but Christi interrupts her to say that Melissa just did it to get back on Jabby’s good side.
Then Christi says that Kelly told her that Melissa told KELLY (got that?) that Maddie had actually practiced the solo with a skipped CD. Kelly interviews that Melissa told her that Maddie was instructed to keep on dancing if the CD ever skipped. I fail to see how that is evidence that Jabby made the CD skip on purpose. Maybe the producers did it, but I don’t see why Jabby would do that, since she can (and does) put Maddie on top of the pyramid whenever she feels like it. And didn’t Maddie come in second, and not first? And I’m sure she does tell the kids to keep going no matter what kind of SNAFU occurs. So what would be the point?
Christi says that if Jabby did somehow set the whole thing up, it’s not cool and if Melissa goes along with it, she’s agreeing that lying and cheating are okay as long as you win. Holly says someone is lying and if Jabby did do it, it would be despicable. Kelly asks how she would even do it? Melissa denies all the accusations and says Jabby would never cheat. In fact, she will go downstairs and ask Jabby herself.
Maddie and Chloe are rehearsing the duet when Melissa barrels into the studio.
She makes the girls leave – not even caring if Maddie’s mad at her for interrupting. She tells Jabby that the moms are calling her daughter a cheater then point-blank asks Jabby if she cheated. Okay, this “fight” is the fakest thing I’ve ever seen on this show (and that’s saying a lot!).
Don’t I look mad?
