All of a sudden, some random guy comes into the green room.
Did somebody call Beards ‘R’ Us?
Supposedly, it’s Jabby’s friend from high school who lives in CO now and we get a flashback to some scene in a bar (that I’ve never seen before) with Kelly talking to some guy. Jabby tells them that this is Mark, the guy that Kelly stole from Jabby. Mark pretends he doesn’t know who Kelly is, but he’s not that good of an actor.
They talk about the fact that Jabby is famous now and how everyone knows who she is. Jabby says that she was a nothing in high school but now she is someone.
Jabby says that Kelly had everyone believing she dated this guy but she was actually only 12 at the time and he supposedly doesn’t remember her. Jabby asks Mark if they can get together and he’s like, “you mean, tonight?” Christi smirks. LOL.
Jabby invites Ally and Shelly to come out to the auditorium with her and Mark to watch some numbers and it’s all so weird.
When they leave, Christi assures us that Kelly DID SO date him and Mark is probably afraid to admit it because Jabby would slash his tires. Shrill notes that Jabby was trying to hold her stomach in the whole time Mark was there. The ladies agree that Jabby has indeed lost weight, but she’s still not thin.
Kendall’s solo is up next. She’s doing a jazz number. Does “jazz” mean “stripper” now?
Make it rain, baby
She’s a little sloppy. Shrill tries to blame it on jet lag because apparently she and Kendall flew in from Europe instead of Pittsburgh . Jabby says Kendall’s solo was entertaining and fun but she should have blown Maddie and Chloe away because she showed up the most during the break.
Finally, Jabby tells Nia that they will, in fact, be doing the group number after all. Oh there you are. Hi Nia! Jabby claims she was being strategic by sizing up the other contestants before deciding to put the group on. Whatever.
Group number. I actually really liked it.
Christi says she was only watching the demons, not the angel, because her kid was a demon. I think all kids are demons, but that’s neither her nor there. Jabby says the number was amazing and Ally was gorgeous and angelic. She really sold the angel role. Christi, of course, complains that Jabby’s giving all the credit to Ally.
Mackenzie’s solo is coming up and Jabby tells her she changed the choreography a little and she doesn’t want Mack to forget it and run off the stage crying. Mackenzie interviews that she wants to win like Maddie did at her age. Maddie says that all the girls prayed backstage that Mackenzie wouldn’t forget and run off. Geez, no wonder the poor kid has a complex.
