Somehow all the moms end up at the front desk, where Jabby and Gia are hanging out. Melissa whispers to Jabby that the moms are bugging her because she kisses up to Jabby.
Jabby says the other moms need to get over it because they have been jealous of Maddie from day one. Kelly says they just want Jabby to back up other kids like she backs up Maddie. Holly notes that they are a team and as such they should go to competitions and leave as one. Jabby screams NO! and says she’s not going to promise that. She says they don’t pay her for her stuff like airfare and expenses so they can all go screw. Well of course they don’t. That is what Lifetime is for. Christi says Jabby’s just making excuses. Jabby looks at her and says “you can’t be here.” Then she tells Gia to call 911 to get Christi out. Whoa – what is that all about? Did Melissa secretly file a restraining order against her?
Next day, Holly tells Melissa she thought Melissa was going to lead the confrontation against Jabby while they all backed her up. Christi points out for the hundredth time that Melissa was upset that Jabby lied to Melissa. She says she wanted Melissa to ask Jabby WHY she lied. Melissa’s like, “I know, I know.” Christi interviews that Melissa failed to step up the plate. To Melissa, she says “you threw us under the bus!” Yay, Cliché Cristi is in the house! Two in the space of a minute.
Kelly says that Melissa isn’t sticking up for herself by not confronting Jabby. Melissa says, “I know. I’m a doormat.” A doormat that periodically threatens to sue people, but a doormat nonetheless.
Trio rehearsal. Kelly says the trio is going to be a challenge because all three girls have different styles. Chloe is not being 100% perfect, so Jabby asks Maddie to demonstrate. Maddie, you will recall, is not in the trio, but she is a swing. Jabby then keeps telling her to watch Chloe to make sure she’s not fucking up. Jabby says she’s not trying to hurt Chloe. Tough love is how she rolls. Maddie interviews that it’s hard for her to watch Chloe when she doesn’t have a solo, but she is super happy for Chloe. Really she is. She’s just gonna take a little drink from this bottle of Wild Turkey to toast Chloe.
Upstairs, Kelly is saying she doesn’t understand the choreography lately and it seems “stupid.” Holly agrees that it’s not impressive. Kelly says it’s just a lot of posing and walking around with some jumping and banging of knees. She wants to know where the technique is. WHERE IS THE TECHNIQUE?
Down in the studio, Jabby is continuing Chloe Bootcamp™ by having Paige, Nia and Maddie sit there and critique Chloe’s solo.
The girls don’t want any part of it, but Jabby bullies them into saying something. Paige says that Chloe flexed her foot; Nia says Chloe should make more eye contact and Maddie says her “in-between” stuff was a little messy. Chloe tries to protest about the eye-contact thing, but Jabby just says that she shouldn’t argue with people willing to tell her in what ways she sucks.
Again, Jabby says that Chloe had better be perfect because Chloe is representing Jabby’s “entire career” and no one in California knows anything about ALDC.
The Chloe abuse continues during the group rehearsal. Chloe has to lead the number. Chloe interviews that she is a little nervous and feeling the pressure of a 650-lb Jabby and her unreasonable expectations. During the rehearsal, Chloe’s hip hurts and she cries. Christi runs down to bring her ice and to tell her that she needs to speak up if she’s in pain. In spite of this, Christi interviews that Chloe is holding up well because she knows this is her week to shine.
