Since Christi always has to get the last word in, she interviews that they can’t help it if Leslie can’t keep her mouth from running. Anyway, this is boring. And fake. And also, what was Leslie’s remark about Chloe supposed to mean? Are we really supposed to believe that Chloe is secretly this evil child who rolls her eyes and is a little bitch even though we’ve never, ever seen ANY evidence of it on this show ever? Listen, I generally hate children and I love ALL these girls. I don’t think any of them are bratty at all. So shut up, Lifetime and your fake “Chloe is evil” meme.
It’s the next day and the group is rehearsing. Jabby says she was confident yesterday, but today, not so much. She yells at Mackenzie to run because she’s supposed to be a “warrior.” (And also dinner, apparently.)
Upstairs, Melissa says Mackenzie is overwhelmed, while downstairs, Jabby says Mackenzie is a beat behind everyone else. Oh, and did you know that this weekend they are going to the BIGGEST COMPETITION IN THE HISTORY OF DANCE?
Maddie and Chloe rehearse their solos. Jabby says that Chloe’s solo is called “What goes around comes around” because Chloe needs to learn that her mom is evil and her malevolence will come back to haunt her. Upstairs, Miss Malevolent herself is saying that she sees a lot of walking around and posing in Chloe’s solo, but not a lot of dancing. She says she’s worried that MADDIE’S solo will be spectacular. That’s right, Christi. It will be real, and it will be spectacular.
It’s 7:15 am and Maddie is having a supposedly secret early morning private with Jabby. Melissa says she has “no idea” why they are there so early.
I have no idea where I am or how I got here
Jabby says she just “realized” the BIGGEST COMPETITION IN THE HISTORY OF DANCE will be split into two venues, so maybe “someone” could do two solos. Hmm. Who could that someone be? She tells Maddie and Melissa to keep this all a secret because it’s nobody else’s bidness. That Jabster is quite the trickster, isn’t she?
One more day till the BIGGEST COMPETITION IN THE HISTORY OF DANCE and Mackenzie is still a beat behind. Also, Peyton interviews that she really wants to do well because she wants a spot on the dance team. At the front desk, Peyton complains about her finger and Leslie again tells her to suck it up and dance through the pain because she’s afraid Jabby will cut her from the number. And we can’t have anyone getting in the way of
Peyton’s dream Leslie’s famewhoring.
Competition day. The group will go first. Jabby asks Peyton how her finger’s doing. Peyton says “okay.” Jabby screams that it’s just a finger, not a knee or an ankle or a thigh fer chrissakes. But Leslie bitches that Peyton has three lifting parts. Leslie wants Peyton to wear her splint for the number but Jabby’s like “no freaking way.” Jabby says it will hurt like hell for two minutes and thirty seconds, but then Peyton can go back to letting it heal. Jabby: “Didn’t some guy survive in a cliff and he ate his arm? He’s fine” Leslie tells Peyton, “there’s your answer. Suck it up.”
Meanwhile, Kelly, who’s been so quiet I didn’t even know she was still there, gets a picture on her phone of Brooke in her dance dress.
I really hope the guy that Brooke is posing with is her brother and not her date, because she’s all gussied up while he’s in shorts and a t-shirt. Kelly says she’s happy with her decision to let Brooke go to the dance instead coming all the way to VA for two minutes on stage. But Kelly, didn’t you know it was THE BIGGEST COMPETITION IN THE HISTORY OF DANCE? Where are your priorities, woman?
Jabby pulls Peyton aside and tells her not to come back after the group dance and be a cocky little bitch like last time. Peyton is on board, and interviews that she wants to prove that she is a great leader and a team player.
