So anyway, I don’t even know what we’re talking about anymore, but Kaya calls them all a bunch of “bitter, toxic-ass women.” Shrill’s like, “so why do you want to be one of us?” Kaya says she doesn’t. Good, because you were only here on spec. No contract for you.
Now it’s time for the race relations portion of the show. Jeff asks if Kaya felt betrayed by Holly. Kaya says she thought Holly would’ve had her back more. Kaya says that Nia totally lit up when Nicaya arrived because there was another girl there who looked like her. Holly agrees that she was glad Nia had someone else to relate to, but she (Holly) doesn’t base things on the color of skin, but on the content of character. I’m sure Dance Moms is exactly what Martin Luther King, Jr. had in mind when he made that speech. Holly says that Kaya’s tirade in the dressing room was like something out of a 70s B movie. Kaya says she was upset because she heard the moms talking shit about her in the dressing room.
Jeff says that Kaya has the floor to tell each mom whatever she wants. She says Cathy’s a blast, Melissa needs new friends, Kelly is the epitome of a crazy stage mom, Christi is too tough for her liking and Shrill is a chameleon whose opinion changes based on who she’s sitting next to. To Holly, she apologizes but still says she wishes Holly’d had her back more. Oh, and in this exchange we learn that Christi worked at Hooters. Is that true?
Next, we go to break and when we come back, the girls are there! Jeff calls them the “real” stars of the show, which is why we only get to see them in the last five minutes of a two-hour reunion show.
You guys are totally the stars. But we may have to cut you to fit in another Army Wives promo.
Jeff has one question for each girl:
Nia – best memory of Dance Moms? Nia: being with my friends and getting better as a dancer.
Mackenzie – favorite part of the makeup? (WTF kind of dumbass question is that?) Mack: lip gloss! LOL.
Maddie – favorite part of being on show? Maddie: learning a new dance every week and competing. (Left unsaid: kicking Chloe’s ass every week.)
Brooke – more music in future? Brooke: love singing, would love to get my voice out there.
Paige – biggest lesson Jabby taught you? – Paige: how to apply eyeliner and how to eat spaghetti. (And she wonders why Jabby thinks she’s not into dance.)
Chloe – where did new confidence come from? Chloe: Lux video and winning lots of group dances.
Kendall – if you could dance with anyone living or dead who would it be? Kendall: Michael Jackson
Vivi – who’s a better teacher, your mom or Jabby? Vivi: for the love of god, get me out of here!
Okay, if you’re not going to free me, can you just kill me?
