Yara and Alexis have decided to switch their personas, which seems to be upsetting Alexis. For whatever reason, it seems that Alexis is crazy enough to not trust Yara to make her look incredible. Girl, really. You’ve never looked interesting before, so let go and let Yara do her thing. Now, not that I’m saying Alexis isn’t an extremely talented gal, I just really go for those who come up with fun and interesting looks and pageant queens just don’t do that.
For the opposites shoot, there is black rain sprayed all over the girls for unknown reasons. “Why it gotta be black?”, asks Ru. Team Professional winds up with way more confidence than talent in their shoot.
Next up is Raven’s bird. There’s just something about a fully nude man in a wig and makeup that makes my libido completely shut down. When Juju points out she can see the goods, Raven shakes them around. Of course. Even gay men feel the need to do that. It’s not a hetero thing – it’s a male thing.
Pandora and Mimi’s shoot looks fun, but it may be too little too late. Pandora is dressed as a 50’s housewife, complete with clothes iron while Mimi is dressed as an extra from a John Water’s film.
Yara makes fun of pageant queens in her interview and is smitten by how well she pulled it off. She proves to look incredible in any look she is given, but Alexis seems to miss the quirky mark. Hopefully Alexis will pull the stick out of her ass and start being fun like she was before. I don’t want her dragging down Ms. Sofia.
Chad and Shannel are still unrealistically confident. OK, I want to point out what a cutie Shannel is as a boy.
Pandora and Mimi are still not meshing with Pandora acting like a little bitch. Chad, putting on his well-worn peacemaker hat, skips over to have a talk with Mimi and suggests she try to bridge the gap with Pandora. What she doesn’t consider, however, is that the gap is wide and Mimi’s still too big to cross it without breaking it.
Pandora seems completely defeated and it’s only the first episode. I’m so over it. I was excited about her from the first mention of All-Stars, but now I just want her to go. If you can’t put on your big girl gaff, then get the fuck out.
It’s time for runway! Our regulars and my personal favorites, Santino and Michelle, are there as well as semi-regular Ross Matthews. Yes, I admit it. I’m a huge Santino Rice fan. I love him. I loved him in PR and I love him here. The guest tonight is Rod Stewart’s leavin’s, Rachel Hunter. And she still looks incredible, so screw her.
Yarlexis’s runway look is a thievery of William’s reunion dress with stickers of their faces. This is shockingly sad as we all know Yara is never boring.
