Ivy and Jinkx, as the most competent dancers, get the most difficult choreography but there’s no real drama so it’s vague statements about how hard it is and if they don’t get every step they’re screwed.

It’s Alyssa’s turn to recap the challenge and inform us that this is her challenge because she owns a dance studio. While stretching out the team she says it’s a very important challenge for her and is keeping her fingers crossed that everything falls into place. Team Coco hears Jinkx’s team come back from the main stage and then get back into position to basically faze them out by doing some basic barre moves…and it works because Ivy calls them “fancy.”

Everything is boogery at the BAL-LET!

Team Coco heads off to the main stage where the boys are, once again, proving that anything they can do the queens can’t do better. Or for the most part at all. They jump right into “good v. evil” Ru. Nick thinks it should be fun while Alyssa reminds us they have beef. You don’t say. It’s been so subtle up until this point. Travis believes they should do a lift and then shows Coco her part as Alyssa lifts him pretty easily. Coco performs more like sack of flour with legs, which amuses Nick, but when Travis gives her the part of pretending to choke Alyssa she says it felt so good. Whatever.

It’s Honey and Detox’s turn and Travis gives them some basic corps choreography but Honey’s kind of a Clydesdale and not getting it. Detox agrees and says it was a little uncomfortable watching her. Then sing-songs ‘FUCK MY LIIIIIIFE” and her wonky eyes in this interview kind of make me uncomfortable. Sorry ‘bout it.

Pretty dancing boys are pretty.

Roxxxy and Vivi…zzzz are up and with two hot dancers watching, Roxxxy shows them her signature move: the Rumpshaker. Heh. Vivi…zzzz is not amused but who cares. Except she does say she wants to see Roxxxy get taken down a peg, even though they’re on the same team. Like she’s not going to suck. Sadly, they both suck. Nick’s nicer about it and says they’re not the strongest dancers and ending with them could be a problem. Then he reminds the whole team that this is about Ru’s life so…don’t fuck it up. Heh.

It’s the next day and Roxxxy, Alaska and Detox really are trying to make this bullshit Rolaskatox a thing. Please stop. It’s not as cute as you think. Alyssa tries to fuck with Alaska about her moves, since even Alaska admits she sucks, and it’s on to character development with Honey. While she was at college her parents found photos of her in drag so they responded like all good, kind and accepting parents would and shipped her off to Africa to get her away from the “bad influences.”

    Great recap!

    My favs are Jinxx, Roxxxy, Alaska, Detox, and Alyssa. Team Alyssa all the way. She really is just too much with her bitch faces and her shade throwing. You gotta love her because Miss Thing is entertaining. Plus as a former dancer I gotta support her for being a dancer. I always got annoyed a bit in the past when the Queens that can’t dance a flip won. I think dancing should be a basic skill for a Drag Queen honestly. It makes the performance more interesting. Just don’t let the dancing overshadow the performance but more like add to it. Alyssa seems to have that down. She still works the face while dancing. Love it.

    I predict Alyssa might make it to top 3. At least to top 5.

    I kinda liked Honey. She wasn’t top 3 material like I pegged her when the pictures and videos first came out, but she a least had some high points in the competiton like her lip sync video, and her Hollywood Coture outfit, where as Vivene is probally the most BORING queen in the history of the show, Nicole Paige Brooks can now rest easy as she is the 2nd most boring queen.

    Alaska did the best job as Ru’s momma AND Alaska had the best comment – “Chaz Bono came out of Cher’s vagina”.

    @Lee You are soo right about Nichole Paige Brooks and Vivi being so pretty yet sooo boring! lol

    I actually kinda like Honeys video- she is a glamazon for real. too bad she couldn’t bring a bit more personality!

    Alaska was great as Ru’s mom! I am getting kinda bored withJade’s attitude- blah!

    If Honey had portrayed herself on the show the way she portrayed herself in her video she would’ve have stuck around much longer

    The Princess said that they ask them who should go home every single week, just to make sure that the drama is extra heated for Untucked. That explains some things. She was furious at how bad the lip synch was, too.

    I was so happy that Ru sent them both home. It was pretty telling when there was zero applause after the lip sync was over. Good on Ru for having the balls to not stick to formatting and keep one of them.

    I was sort of anti-Alaska, but she’s growing on me each week. And as much as I hated Viv…..zzzz I think Roxxxy is being a little overly bitchy.

    I also have to say, and some may call it rasict, but Ms Viv….zzzz was a let down for the Asian drag queens from seasons past. Jujubee and Manilla were superstars, and I had hope that Viv….zzzz would maintain the standard. Ah well. It just makes me love Juju and Manilla more.

    CAN’T WAIT FOR EDITH IN SNATCH GAME!!! Give me a winner Jinxy cat!

    Thanks for the Stuart Smalley references! I just watched Stuart Saves His Family during our snow days and still adore that movie!
