And now a word from our President, RuPaul.
Like nachos.
Filler! Cynthia thinks Kayla is strong but not masculine at all, and couldn’t care less what her ex thinks about it. Krystle is balking at the lace because she doesn’t see herself as sexy, maybe cute. Jujubee does not deny that she is very cute, but bolsters her confidence by saying they’re not mutually exclusive. Missy has transferred her need to please to Chad and is afraid of living up to expectations because even if Chad can paint her to look like Adina Powers she still has to bring the attitude and doesn’t want to let anyone down. Then she breaks down that she tries to be strong for her mother and husband but it’s hard.
Character development is over because Ru’s here to go over their Everyday Drag.

Cynthia gets to pick either a slinky sheath with cherry red belt or a versatile jersey dress with jeweled neckline to show off her incredible arms and legs. Cynthia’s excited to choose because she wants to be sophisticated.

Krystle’s options are a retro kimono dress with print sash to soften her curves or a modern black wrap dress to define her waist and highlight her arms. Krystle thinks the looks are also sophisticated but isn’t as happy about it as Cynthia.

Missy gets a straight-up sophisticated belted day dress to define her waist and highlight her arms or a savvy belted tunic to give her an hourglass figure. Sadly, Missy does not talk about the sophistication level of the outfits, but is happy to have choices.
Raven plugs the sponsor and it’s on to dance class. Jamal Sims is back as Dean of Dance, who has wisely chosen to ditch the ruffled hoodie for a more militaristic looking vest. Smart. Also smart? He’s chosen yet another RuPaul song, Glamazon. Anyone else get the feeling Jamal might have been the kid who reminded the teacher to assign homework? Regardless, Ru is all “humbled” and “shocked” to be featured.
And the Emmy doesn’t go to…
Cynthia says she loves the song because it’s so infectious (so is syphilis) and Ru leaves them to Jamal. He starts in with Krystle to see her moves and she does the chicken dance. HAHAHA. Jamal’s all frowny-faced and Krystle understates that there are some moves she can do…but not many. Then there’s a brief bit of rumpshaking that Krystle does with the entire middle half of her body. Jujubee, who as we know is fascinated with her own padded hips, just thinks Krystle needs to loosen up. Ya think.
Bockbockbockbock
On to Cynthia who is having difficulties with one move. She’s fine the first time she messes up but each subsequent time she gets more and more anxious and her shoulders ride higher and higher as she interviews that she started hearing all those doubting voices creep back into her head that she’s too manly.
If you like it, spread it!:

@valle,
“I don’t think any other group managed to be this in sync.”
I couldn’t agree more. They really were good, and heck, when Krystal said she thought they all did well, I got a little wet eye.
Cynthia, I hate to say, looked kind of like a guy in a dress (sorry) She is so fierce and beautiful, but sometimes over-doing the makeup on a grrrl like her does the opposite. Loved her abs, her BF was crazy!!!
I love Ru’s music, truly! I listen to Glamazon and the Main Event, and Jealous of my boogie all the time. She is very clever and I love her to death, but I don’t think she should be using “hallalou” . . . that was coined by a much lesser Queen, and Ru deserves the best! So there!
Ha! “Tyra’s flogging a Jay” is my new favorite phrase!
@Juddfan I wholeheartedly agree! I still have a picture I took with my first boyfriend, who wore makeup. For fun I had him do my makeup that day, but when we got the pics back I looked like the boy and he looked like the girl! I didn’t look bad, just a bit masculine (though it didn’t help I’m somewhat androgynous naturally)b/c his style put me over that edge.
I love his music too! <3 all those songs, and Lady Boy! "Don't you know, I'm that chick you know, that my world won't stop if you clock me. You got me!"
I’m starting to get really mad at this show.
