Carrie Ann – 9
Len – 8.5
Bruno – 8.5 (Why won’t he be excited again?!?!)
First 9 of the season!
Woo! It’s time for Kirstie Alley’s jive! I’m totally pulling for her because “Look Who’s Talking” was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. It’s really hard to recap what she says because she’s crazy…and I love it! I love that she says that she has lived three of Shawn’s lifetimes. It’s so freaking cute!
The woman may be 61, but she can hold her own when it comes to being sexy! She really does look awesome in that wig. Again, I’m making no secret that I’m rooting for Kirstie. I’m sure by bias is clouding my judgment on that dance.
Carrie Ann thinks that Kirstie proves that age is just a number. However, Kirstie and Maks have to match their movement style more. Len calls her “flirty, dirty Kirstie!” He just keeps getting drunker as the night goes on! Bruno says that the girl looks hard for the money, but she should get the cash first. Then he said something about how experience counts. Thanks, Bruno.
Carrie Ann – 7
Len – 7
Bruno – 7
When asked what Kirstie has that the other stars don’t, Maks just says, “Maturity. Lots of maturity.” Yes, we get it. Kirstie is older than all the others. I hope this isn’t the running joke.
Emmitt and Cheryl will be dancing a quickstep. During rehearsals, we find out that Emmitt’s head is crooked because of football.
It was a pretty straight forward quickstep. It wasn’t particularly good or bad. It was definitely a middle of the pack dance. Len likes Emmitt’s attitude, but was not pleased with his upper body. Bruno meows because of Emmitt and Cheryl’s chemistry. Nothing really surprises me with Bruno anymore. Carrie Ann says that Emmitt should watch out because the others did better tonight.
Carrie Ann – 7.5
Len – 7.5
Bruno – 7 and a HALF! (Yay!)
Hooray! Anna and Drew are next with their jive. May yay is mainly for Anna. They’re both pissed about being in the bottom two last week. They’ve decided to start their dance with Anna hitting Drew in the face. He doesn’t want to be hit too hard because his face is the money maker. Then Drew does my job for me by saying, “That’s why I’m broke!” Ha! I now like Drew just for that comment.
That was really cute! I think it would be impossible for anything involving Anna to not just be adorable beyond all human reason. Bruno wants Drew to let it all hang out. Of course he does. However, he thinks that Drew goes a little flat-footed. Carrie Ann welcomes Drew home. OK. Len agrees with everyone else – Drew needs to stay on the balls of his feet. Then he rhymes again and calls him “Bottom Two Drew” but assures him he won’t be this week. That Len is such a poet.
